we both dance
in textures
two canvases
awaiting to be used
our sweat
a delicate oil
prepping us
for the mood
i am poor
don't have any colours
so i break you
with my tools
splodges of red
some purple
a few faded
yellow hues
you?
you're so rich
you carry around
colour schemes
you love your reds
and your oranges
but use your white
mostly
so rough
but so warm
so narrow
and so long
such a difficult
composition
in so many
positions
how long
have we been painting
we've been at it
for hours
we're exhausted
but we love it
because our love
is an artist
