i can hear you kissing my cheek
it's been a while since it was me
i guess we've both forgotten
everything we could've been
i doubt you're up at 2am
though i know it happens now and again
because you're too busy with thoughts
to ever listen to me
and frankly i'll never blame you
because i have heard stories of what you've been through
and no matter what you say
i won't move further than needed
you must know, since i care
and you acknowledge it everywhere
so use the strength i give you
because you know i'm so weak
i guess my knees are giving up
looks like my eyes are out of luck
my body's wearing thin again
seems your touch was too lively
how much of it is in my head
what part was actually said
i don't believe in generalisation
so i guess i officially am crazy
i can hear you saying goodnight
the sound distorted by hundreds of miles
but don't let me ruin your sleep
you must be dreaming so much better without me
