Chapter 59

"Knight, you want to go out?"

I turned to Knight who's resting on my right, beside my bed. He lifted his head before huffing then went resting his head over his paws.

Tumayo ako at marahang tinapik ang kanyang ulo nang tumunog ang aking telepono. It was a text from Paeng saying that they're on their way here. Napangiti ako at inayos ang sarili bago lumabas.

Napabuntong hininga ako paglabas. Sabay sabay bumati ang dalawang pares ng maids and bodyguards na naghihintay sa labas ng aking kwarto.

Dad was back from being overreactive and over protective because of what I did yesterday. I walked and they followed. Kahit nasa bahay lang ako ay kailangang presentable kaya't naka peach dress ako ngayon na tinernuhan ng high heeled shoes.

Nasa ground floor na ko nang makita si Icko na palingon lingon sa paligid. Why is he here?

If he's here, then the others are here also. Kailangan ko nga palang hanapin si Richelle.

I smiled and was amused by just looking at him while he scratches the side of his head and looked like a lost puppy. Nawala agad ang ngiti ko nang napatingin siya sa akin. At first he was shocked then gave me his signature smile. A smile that would make you comfortable.

I immediately composed myself and stared at him blankly then walked passed him.

"Isnabera." Sabi niya pagkalagpas ko. Pagkaharap ko sa kanya, nakangiti siya at hindi na ko nagulat nang bigla niya kong yakapin.

Pero bago niya pa magawa 'yon, pumagitna na ang dalawang bodyguards ko. Nawala ang kanyang ngiti at napaurong.

"It's fine. I know him." I said and they went back behind me.

"Bakit di ka na namamansin ah? Nawala ka lang naging isnabera ka na." He said while holding both my shoulders, arm length.

"What did you expect? To jump in glee and pull you guys for a group hug?" I said sarcastically and he rolled his eyes. "Ger's gone and Gem's got nothing to do with some of you."

"Eh bakit pati ako di mo pinansin?"

I shrugged. "Payback!" I grinned and he let go of my shoulders frowning. "Now you know the feeling. Anyways, why are you roaming around the house? Where are the others?" Napabuntong hininga siya at napakamot sa batok.

"Si Bryan kasi ando'n, nilalandi na naman ung isa sa mga kasambahay niyo. Yung Belle ung pangalan." He's hitting on Belle? "Inaantay lang namin si Richelle kasi gusto daw mag shopping. Nauhaw ako kaya hinahanap ko ung kusina. Si Bryan kasi kung anu-ano sinasabi kay Belle kaya hindi ako makahingi ng tubig. San nga ba punta mo?"

"I'm searching for Richelle. Since hindi niyo pa siya kasama, baka nasa kwarto pa."

I nodded and lead him to the kitchen. Ang tanda ko, si Belle din ung dating nilalandi ni Bryan nung unang balik ko dito sa bahay as Ger.

"How's Yka? Call her here. Dad didn't want me to contact any of you and he also took my phone away." Matagal ko naring di nakikita si Yka at miss ko narin siya. I wanted to catch up with her and Icko.

"Sige. Anyare nga pala sa'yo pagkatapos ng aksidente mo. Hindi kami pinalapit ng mama mo sa'yo." Tanong niya habang papunta kami sa kusina . I told him what really happened months ago. I was confined for a month and my parents took care of all the things that needed to be taken care of. To say that my dad was angry was an understatement. He was furious at talagang pinagalitan niya ko ng todo.
