Chapter 32

I saw him before he saw me. The doors weren't even full open before I saw him. He looked absolutely stunning. He had on a fitted black tux with a shirt open at the collar and no tie. His tanned skin looked dark against the crisp freshness of his white shirt and his black shoes shined at the bottom of his fitted black trousers.

His perfect hair was flicking exactly where it was supposed to, not one strand looked out of place. His strong beautiful hands were hidden in his pockets as he looked at the stairs, then at the lift.

He finally saw me standing outside it. His hands came out of his pockets and hung by his sides, his mouth dropped the tiniest of centimetres and his eyes widened as he looked from my feet to my face, back down to my feet. They took in every inch of my body before his mouth burst into a heart stopping smile and he strolled towards me.

'Oh my god! You look absolutely stunning!' He told me. He stopped in front of me and looked at me again. 'Wow.' He sighed. He raked his hand through his hair and looked me in the eye. 'You're gorgeous!'

'I....' I could feel myself blushing but before I could say anything my face scrunched up and I looked down. Louis' eyes were so intense on mine. 'You look amazing too.' I tell him and he kissed me on the cheek and smiled. I could smell his aftershave, Hollister, his favourite.

'Where are we going?' I asked as he took my hand and led me towards the glass doors of the lobby. People were looking as we went and he smiled at them all in greeting.

'Café La Boheme.' He tried putting an accent on and looked over at me. 'I can't get over how beautiful you look tonight. I can't stop smiling; I want everyone to know you're with me.' He squeezed my hand as we stepped outside.

I nodded and smiled as Louis led me over to a silver Mercedes and opened the door so I could get it. Café La Boheme was where all the celebs ate, no wonder we were dressed up!

The inside smelt of leather. The tinter windows blocked out most of the light but there was enough to see each other. Louis slid in next to me and placed his hand on my thigh.

When the driver began our journey Louis turned to me and grabbed one of my hands.

'Look, I know you okay and I know how you get when you recieve compliments. You're insecure and I can't even find the words to describe how crazy that is. You are the absolute most beautiful person I have ever seen and I had to touch you the moment you stepped out of that elevator just to make sure you are real. Tonight, I want you to feel beautiful even though you may not believe it yourself. I hope that after tonight you will see how much beauty you have and understand that I love you so much. I want to be able to compliment you and have you believe it. Because it's true, it's all true. And tonight' he pauses to look at me, 'you cannot tell me that you do not look beautiful. Because you are glowing.'

I feel a tear slide down my cheek but quickly wipe it away, cautious of my make up. I look at Louis, my angel. God's greatest creation.

'What did I do to deserve you?' Another tear falls but he catches it.

I looked at him and couldn't help but mirror the smile on his face. He pulled me towards him and kissed me on the lips. His mouth taste like mint and him. I closed my eyes and savoured the moment.

'How did you get ready if you haven't been back to the room?' I asked.

'I went back to Harry's room, got my tux delivered there and got ready there. What do you think of the dress? Zayn helped me choose it.' He fingered a bit of the material on my thigh as he spoke.

'I love it! Aside from your pretty face, it's the most gorgeous thing I've ever been given.'

'I'm so glad you like it, I've been nervous for the last few days that you wouldn't like it.' He put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me in close as the car drove through the streets of LA.

'How did you get it a few days ago?'

'I found it in London, rang a shop in LA and they had it. I told them to keep it for me and that I'd let them know where and when to deliver it within the next few days. Fair play to them, they did well.'

'Fair play to you, you mean. You did all of that for me?'

'Of course. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you.' He kissed me on the cheek and he held his free hand tightly in mine.

We chatted about his day at work while we made our way to the restaurant. He'd been in meetings with their American management all day, talking about their album and the promotions they'd be doing.

The car came to a stop and the door was opened by the driver.

'Be careful sir, there are paparazzi here tonight. I think they may have followed us here or heard of you visit somehow.' The man quietly spoke, his American accent subtle compared to the many strong ones I'd heard that day.

'Thank you, Jason. Aria, you ready? Just smile for them if they want a photo, otherwise keep walking. You okay?'

'Okay, yeah. I'm ready.' I smiled to reassure him.

Just as I went to hop out he stopped me, 'No matter what, you look stunning right now. Be the confident girl I know that deep down you are.'

I smile at him and nod my head once, turning again to exit to step out of the car. I waited a moment for Louis to emerge from the car also. When he did, he took my hand, rebuilding the sense of security and safety.

We were greeted by flash after flash as I straightened up and looked at Louis. He nodded and we walked past the cameras. A few shouted 'SMILE' so we did, but we didn't stop, we just kept on walking until we got to the doors and we were escorted in by a man in a white t-shirt and black trousers. The shirt was rolled up neatly so his tanned forearms were on display, the fine blonde hairs shining in the light. Louis told him the name of the reservation.

'Good evening, I'm Jacob. I'll be your waiter tonight. You requested to be seated in the garden so follow me.' He smiled, his accent was strong.

We walked through the red and black room. Large chandeliers hung from the vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows covered the walls. We were led past tables of couples and small groups all participating in conversation. Everyone looked happy and as though there were enjoying themselves.

I noticed in the corner Katy Perry was sitting with a friend. I wanted to run up to her and fangirl but how wrong would that be? I caught Louis' eye and he noticed where I was looking. He eyes bugged a little in surprise. He was famous himself but still got excited whenever he saw the super star. He grinned and leaned towards me.

'You look better.' He whispered to me.

I couldn't help but smile in return. We followed Jacob through double doors into the most romantic garden I'd ever seen.
