Alex's POV:

"Iz" I muttered, slightly shaking her to wake her up. "Izzy"

"What?" She angrily spat, not even opening her eyes.

"We cannot stay in here forever, you dork" I chuckled. "Wake up"

"Fuck off, I want to sleep" She grunted as she turned to face her back to me.

"Do you want everyone to find out we fucked?" I inquired, knowing that would make Izzy freak out. I saw as her eyes shot open in shock and she sat up straight, covering herself with the blanket.

"What if they know?" She asked alarmed.

"Can you calm down?" I laughed. "Nothing will happen if they know"

"They'll make fun of us until we die, it's like high-school all over again"

"Well, I used to fuck you a lot more frequently during high-school, so I'm okay with that"

"Oh, shut up!" Izzy yelped, punching my arm. "What time is it?"

"Uhh... six in the morning" I mumbled, looking at my phone screen.

"Six in the morning?!" Izzy screeched. "You woke me up at six in the morning?! Everyone must be still asleep, Alex! And they're probably hangover as well, they won't be waking up for the next five hours, at least!"

"Well, I'm sorry, I didn't even check the time" I complained. "But think of it as some extra time for us to spend together" I winked at her, laying back on the couch and dragging her along with me.

"As if! I'm going back to sleep, man" She declared, turning around and facing her back to me.

"Oh, come on, Iz!" I insisted, spooning her as I looked down at her. Even with her eyes closed, Izzy still managed to look angry, which was something I'd always found funny in her, and that had eventually turned into one of her loveliest charms, in my opinion. "Let's talk"

"God, what do you want to talk about at six in the morning?" Izzy grumbled.

"I don't know... are you still angry at me?" Izzy opened her eyes and hesitated for a moment, spinning to face me.

"Sorta" She barely replied. "Out of the twenty four hours of the day, I think I can say I'm angry at you like... twenty, twenty one"

"Interesting"

"Yeah, you're annoying"

"And you have no patience"

"And you always find a way to piss me off, it's like a gift" I laughed, being unable to keep my seriousness in the argument going. "Anyways, we had sex literally a couple of hours ago, what does it even matter if I told you I'm angry at you? You clearly won"

"I didn't win, Izzy" I whispered, drawing her hair back. "We just did what we should have done six years ago"

"I suppose" She murmured.

"If I'd won, those six years would have never existed, actually" I said. "We would have never drifted away"

"Al..." Izzy trailed off, sounding kind of sad. "We have to stop mourning over that, it's already done"

"I know, it's kind of complicated not to think about it. Why did we even let so much time pass us by, Izzy?" I asked, hoping she would have the answer, but knowing she was as clueless as I was.
