[ Nic pov ]
"FAREE OPEN THE DAMN DOOR" I yelled for like the 10th time. I was getting so aggravated cause I know the nigga ain't sleep. I just want to get out of these clothes and talk to Lani and Faree about what i over heard yesterday. Before I knew it the door flew open and he was hugging and kissing all on me.
"Nigga move" I said because I really didn't want to talk to his ass. You really not gonna marry me cause your friend told you not to? Okay that's cool, go kiss your friend
"Baby I was so worried. oh my GOD, Nic you're okay" he kissed me again
"Ew Faree there's blood and your lip" after I noticed the blood I looked closer at his face to notice his lip was swollen.
"Baby what happened?" I wasn't even mad anymore. He was hurt and that's all that mattered to me at this moment, I'll be mad some other time.
"Forget what happened to me, what happened to you baby?" when he asked this I was confused. Why would he think something happened to me?
"Nothing..... I slept with Cristina last night" he looked at me then started laughing
"Well... not like that but I slept in her room" I said because he always says me and Cris be fuckin behind his back. His dumb ass.
"No, I know" he laughed even harder then took his phone out.
"Hello?"
"Yeah man, she's good"
*laughs* "I'll see you later"
Okay, thanks" he hung up.
"Who was that?"
"Jelani"
"Oh? Y'all cool again?" I Ask putting my towel down
"after yesterday adventures maybe,
but I doubt it. Wait til I tell you all about it tho" he laughed again.
"Can't wait to hear it, weirdo" I looked at him funny
"Let's go to the pool"
"first of all, your lip is busted. That's nasty and I just came from there with C. Imma go see my brother."
"okay let's go" I looked at him funny when he said that
"Why are you going?"
"I'm just gonna make sure you get there"
"It's right downstairs Safaree"
"I know, I won't stay. I'll just walk you"
"Nah all 3 of us need to talk any way so come on" I said as I changed out of my bathing suit and put on some shorts and a tank top with some sneakers.
When Lauren opened the door she looked sad, but I figured she was just tired or something from the baby.
"Hi Lo, Hi Laur" Hi hugged her and took the baby, "go in Safaree so I can talk to Lauren" he looked at me like I was crazy then just walked in and Lauren came out closing the door behind her.
"Wassup Nic"
"I gotta talk to our dumb asses real quick. Give me a minute?"
"yeah, you do need to talk to them cause...."
"yeah I heard. Give me Lo, go talk to Cris for a while." She just looked at me then finally agreed.
"Hey Lani" I said walking over to him with Logan.
"NIKA, I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE OKAY"
"okay, Someone wanna tell me why I wouldn't be okay? What did I miss yesterday?" Safaree laughed again
"Well I called SB and you weren't there, and you weren't here. We were so scared. We looked every where for you. We was buggin outttttt, where were you?" Said Lani
Safaree laughed, "nigga she was the only place we didn't look!!"
"But we looked everywhere" Lani said confused
"Not Cristinas room" both Lani and Safaree were laughing now
*in Cristinas hotel room*
"Hey Laur, what you doing here?"
"Nic needed a minute with the boys so here I am"
"Oh... well come in. Wait actually let's go eat"
"Yeah, I'm starving"
*in Jelanis room*
"So you mean to tell me y'all went through all of that because I didn't come downstairs?" Nicki asked
"you should've let one of us know!" Safaree said
"Yeah, why didn't you come anyways?" Jelani asked.
Nicki hesitated to answer.
"Because... I didn't want to be around you" she finally said while looking down
"So why didn't you just stay in our room?" Safaree added
"I didn't wanna be around you either" she replied then it got quiet until Logan laughed.
*at the food court*
"Lauren stop eating off of my plate" Cristina laughed.
"Your bacon tastes better" Lauren said stealing another piece while C rolled her eyes.
"Cristina, you've lost a lot of weight, you look really good."
"thanks"
They stared at eachother for a long time with out saying anything then went back to eating like nothing happened.
"I've missed you C"
"I guess I missed you too"
"you guess?"
"Mmhmm"
*Jelanis room*
"Basically y'all didn't tell me what was going on" Nicki said with an attitude
"Onika, why would we tell you some shit like that?" Jelani asked
"Lani, did you do that to his lip?"
"what!? No! He did that fighting for you"
"Fighting who?" I asked confused
"It doesn't really matter, he was trying to protect your ass, say Thank you instead of playing 21 questions" Jelani responded
"Don't talk to her like that" Safaree mocked and they laughed.
"Look man, she's my little sister, I know y'all have been together forever but hearing you say that you actually want to marry her and take that next step scares me" Jelani said to Safaree.
"Shouldn't that have been my choice Lani?" Nic asked him but they ignored her.
"Jay I would never hurt her and you know that, so what's the problem?"
*With Cristina and Lauren*
"I thought you didn't miss me?" Laur teased
"Yeahhhhhhhhhh whatever, when are you gonna tell him?" C asked
"I'm not...." Lauren said now sitting up in the bed.
"What do you mean?" C asked
"Why would I tell him? That's dumb as shit Cristina" she said with an attitude and left the room.
She walked down the long ass hallway and made a left then kept walking until she reached her and Jelanis room. She could hear them talking from outside the door.
"Wait but who said I, ONIKA TANYA MARAJ, wanted to get married, it's not y'all fucking choice it's mine" Nicki said walking out the room with Logan.
"Nic want me to take him?" Lauren asked
"Nah, I'll keep him for a while" she said walking to the elevator.
