I went around the house to find another entrance. I was determined to get that phone back. I crept through the back door. Once I was in, I heard "System Shutting Down. Overheating." in the distance. I relaxed a little, but I knew I only had a limited amount of time before he would reboot.
I knew that there was no way I would be as lucky as I was last time. I had to mark my trial somehow. My elbow was still bleeding, so I decided to use that to my advantage. I rubbed my elbow against the wall, just enough to make a slight mark. I didn't want him to be able to track me as well.
I made my way towards where the stairs were. Once I reached the top, I heard a door from below open and shut. 'Who could it be?' I went down the hallway from before. I could tell it was the same one due to the reminisce of the barricade and broken door. I heard someone else running up the stairs, extremely loud.
I knew it couldn't be Mark, so I went back to see who it was. I couldn't risk them finding me and hurting me or having them hurt themselves at the hands of Mark Zuckerburg. I crept to the top of the staircase and peered down. My heart stopped.
