Anxiety

I looked in the mirror one final time. 'I wish I could be going to see Elon again...' I tucked my dog back into bed and gave him a treat. He's the only thing that makes me happy anymore. I went into my Tesla and headed to Mark's house.

His house was somehow even bigger than Elon's house. But I wasn't nearly as impressed. I parked my car and got a message from Mark.

"I will be right down."

It was weird how he sent me messages at the most perfect timings. I walked up the driveway and to his door. As soon as I was by the welcome mat, he opened the door.

"Welcome," he said in a monotone voice. "Won't you come in?"

I walked inside and avoided eye contact. I felt my gut telling me to get out, but I just couldn't.

"This way."

He grabbed my hand and led me to an office. It was all white except for the carpet. I sat down in one of the chairs across from his. I looked down and twiddled my thumbs to help me contain my anxiety.

"I have somethings I need you to write down for me, but first, I want to know something."

"Yes Mr. Zuckerburg?"

"Why did you leave Elon's house that night? What was the real reason?"
