It's Thursday. I leave tomorrow night. I met some of Sierras friends and we went to the club. It was fun. When I came home I was completely smashed. It's 8am and everyone is still sleeping. I am just thinking about what I'm going to do with myself. I graduate high school in five months. I have until April to decide what school I'm going to. Yesterday Blake told me that a couple letters from colleges came. I don't want to open them. If Indi and I get accepted, then that means I'd be away from my friends. I've made my decision. I have to go away for college. I need to do that. I get my phone and call Blake.
"Hey. Are you ok. It's 5am." He ask his voice raspy.
"I have something important to tell you. "
"What is it? "
"I wanna go somewhere out if state. "
"Why? "
"Is just something I need to do. I really haven't talked to anyone but you lately. I live you and I want to be with you, it's just that I think this will be good. "
"Ok, if that's what you want. "
"I do. "
"Well, you have a whole stack of acceptance letters here. Just take a pick. "
"Ok. I want you to help me choose, but I don't want anyone else to know. Just you and my parents. "
"Ok.i live you. "
"I love you too. I'll see you Friday. "
"Ok."

"Sierra!! " I yell as she laughs. I look down at the mess that was my food. My pizza is on the floor because Sierra thought it was funny to slap my plate out of my hands.
"What? I'm sorry. I get you another pizza. " She says still laughing. I groan. Skype requests pop up on my screen. I pause the movie and accept.
"Why are you both calling me? " I ask. They both yell at the same time.
"I need a favor! "
"Woah. One at a time. "
"Alex. I need you to get a T-shirt that says 'Cruz is the best cousin ever. 'Yeah? " Cruz says.
"No Ali. I need you to get a shirt that says ' Dustin is my awesome most favorite cousin. '" Dustin glares at Cruz. It's hard to tell because he's really glaring at the screen.
"How about i make both and which ever one comes out better I will wear " I suggest. They nod eagerly. I chuckle.
"Bye guys
" Bye Alex! "Cruz yells as I hang up.
" Alex?. "Sierra asks coming to sit next to me handing me my pizza.
" Yea. My full name is Alejandra. So Cruz, who I was just talking to, asked what it meant. Usually a Hispanic name will mean something in English. I said that I didn't care and to go look it up. Turns out it means Alexandria. Now he calls me Alex. "She nods.
" I love your family. "
"Wait until you meet them. " I muttered as I took a huge bite if my pizza.

Yesterday, me and Sierra spent the day watching movies and eating hat ever we wanted. I'm leaving tonight. It's 3pm. I really don't want to leave nut I have to.
"Sierra? "
"Yeah."
"Wht college are you going to? "
"Duke. I applied last year and got in. I play D1 volleyball. "
"Seriously. I play too. I applied this year but I haven't gotten a response. I mean, Blake said I had some responses at the house. Haven't opened them yet. "
"Please give with me. " She practically begged. I raised a eyebrow.
"I don't know if I even got in. "
"Well when you get home and open it call me and tell me. "
"Ok. But what are we going to do until 7? "
"I don't know. "
"Let's go shopping. "
"Ooh yeah. "

"Don't leave me! " Sierra yells.
"I have to. I'll see you soon. I'll call and text everyday. " I hug her.
"You better. Or I'll have to fly there and kill you. "
'Ok it's time to put violent Sierra away. "
"Ok but seriously, you need to call me. "
"I will. I have to go though. " She hugs me again.
"Bye."
"Bye." I say and walk into the airport.

I walk out of the airport. It is almost 3am. I had a two hour delay. I look at my phone. No texts by 2 calls. One from mom and one from Sierra. It's 7am in New York. I cal Sierra.
"Hey,  sorry for callin so late, I had a 2houe delay and a 5hour plane ride. "
"It's fine, just wanted to make sure that you got home. " I go and sit on a bench. My luggage beside me. I criss my legs and run a hand through my hair on a sigh.
"I'm still at the airport. I'm outside I'm gunna get a cab to go home. "
"Ok,  call me after you get sleep. "
"Ok. "
"Ali! " Someone yells. I look to my left to see Zeke. I get up.
"Gotta go Sierra. I'll call. Probably tomorrow. "
"Ok, bye. "
"Bye."I hang up as Zeke scoops me in a hug.
" Oh my god! What are you going here? "I shriek.
" Blake dragged my ass outta bed. I swear he is so annoying don't ever leave us again. "He says setting me  down. I feel a little guilty because I wanna go to Duke. And in order to do that I have to leave them. I back away when another force hits me.
" Ali! "The girls b scream. I laugh nearly falling over.
" Okay gimme room. "I laugh. They back away. Brandon comes up next. I give him a side hug.
" Where are my parents.
"Sleeping.i swear they could sleep through a earthquake. " I chuckle.
"You ask about them but not your own boyfriend? " Blake asked.
"Hey I can't miss my parents. "
"Yea but you can miss me first " He says from beside me.
"Where's Sam. "
"With your cousin. " I nod.
"Come on,  I'm tired. "
"What time is it in New York? " Hanna asks. I check my phone.
"7: 30." I change the time back to California time.
"Wow. A huge time difference. "
"Yeah. I adjusted quick though. "
"Can we leave? I'm tired. "Zeke whines.
" Shut up you dumbfuck. I just got back and you wanna sleep. "I say. Then I yawn.
" Karmas a bitch. "Zeke smirks.
" Were you the one flying a 5 hour plane ride with a two hour delay from New York to California? "His smirk is long gine.
" Sucks to be you. "Zeke mutters
