Percy's prov

His eyes welled up with tears, but he refused to let them fall. "What have I done to deserve this? Why now? Why today?"

Annabeth just smiled a comfortingly. "It's not you. It's just that I am tired of the romance between us. Jake provides the time I need and you don't. I am sorry Percy but I just don't feel the love anymore. I am moving on." It was like she tore out his heart, then stomped on it. Jake was a son of Hermes. It was fitting seeing how he stole Annabeth from him. The guy just stood back, a faint smile on his face.

"Fine. If that's what you want. I be alone" I then tore open the intended gift wrapped present to revel a bracelet of water glass. Gray ink floating inside. It had the words wisdom on the side. Annabeth gasped at its beauty. I had made it myself using my water powers. I then flung it to the ground and walked away. 

"Wait Percy! Don't walk away! We can still be friends!" Annabeth cried. I looked back to see her pick up the bracelet. But I couldn't let her have that, not after what she just did. I willed the water glass to liquidize and the bracelet melted in Annabeth's hands.

I smiled sadly about destroying it. "See you later at the meeting for heroes. Don't expect a hello" I turned and walked away from the pair of lovers and away from the campfire.

---------------------------------------------Later in the Meeting for Heros-------------------------------------

"We are proud to say thank you and offer a gift of power pertaining to each of you." Zeus spoke, "For your efforts in the Wars." He then and the other gods walked toward the people before before then.

"Frank. Step forward." Frank casting a nervous look at the others then stepped forward. Then a glowing ball summon by the gods appeared before him and the burst agaist him. Frank gasped then prompted smiled. 

"That felt good." frank smiled and then took a step back. "I feel different."

"Hazel. Step Forward" Hazel did the same and a ball hit her. It happened to all the demigods each feeling refreshed. Piper just went before Percy and then as soon as the light faded she gasped. 

"Run Percy. They turned us Immortal!" I hardly heard the last word because her charm speak was in action and in full force. Zeus growled portraying an interesting trait of a dog then said, "More power. Make his orb chase him." Immediately a glowing blue ball chased after me. 

"Leave me alone. I don't want to be immortal." I shouted. Some of the seven just looked confused. Who didn't want immortality. But I wan'ted to honor my friends and their deaths. I kept running. 

I burst out of the throne room and sped through the halls with the orb on my heels. It got bigger the farther away as I got farther from the building. Then it split into 14 smaller orbs as I went through the market place. The normal size to big to dodge people. Noticing that weakness I rushed closely past people almost enough to tackle them.

The smaller orbs then also were growing in size, but I was close to the exit of Mount Olympus. They chased after me an small swarm of mini orbs. I ran at the elevator and pressed the button. The orbs collided with each other and went into a massive orb. I listened for the elevator and a sound emitted faintly from the crack in it. The sound though just got fainter. "No. NO, NO NO! Don't go down! Come up!" I cried. 

The orb now the size of a giant blow up beach ball massed towards me. I ran to the side but I had waited to long. It hit me with the force of a cannon ball and exploded and then I knew no more.
