5. DaiSuga: You

Suga's POV

    I slowly walk home after a really long day at work. So much had happened today, Hinata started working at the company, and Asahi and Noya announced their engagement, which was pretty cool. No one knew that they would be the first ones to get engaged. Back in high school everyone thought that it would be Daichi and I. I slow my pace and walk towards a nearby bench and sit down slowly falling into the dark place in my mind, the place that houses my memories of Daichi.

    I quietly start to whisper to myself because it helps me calm down faster, "I miss him so much, why'd he have to go and disappear? I wanted us to be the ones who get married and have a family first." I just sit there thinking about Daichi. After graduation he never gave me a chance to express my feeling he just left, no trace of him or anything, or so that's what I've been told. After about a hour is starts to lightly snow, so I slowly get up and make my way to my apartment.

    I get inside and settle down when my phone starts ringing, I look at the contact but it is just numbers. I still answer it. Slowly I say, "Hello?"

    A timid voice says, "Hi, is this Sugawara Koushi?"

    "Um yes who are you?" I ask trying to hide the fear in my voice. I am really freaked out on who this person is and how they got my phone number.

    "I um, I'm sorry!" I person on the other end yells then hangs up.

    I quietly whisper, "What the heck..." I quickly text Asahi because I am genuinely scared. Little things have always scared me but he is the one who I always go to.

Asahi

Asahi????

Suga? Is
everything ok?

I just got a call and
answered it and
the person asked
if I was Sugawara
Koushi and I just
said yes and they
yelled I'm sorry and
hung up.

Is is okay if I come
and spend the night
at your place?

I really don't want
to stay here right
now...

There's something
I have to tell you so

I will come get you ok?

Ok, I'll wait for you.

    After 10 minutes of waiting and packing a small bag, I hear a knock at my door. I am slow at opening it, when I hear a voice yell, "Yo! Suga it's Noya hurry up and get out here it's cold!" I quickly unlock the door and walk out. "Finally, took you long enough. Did you think I was a killer or something?"

"Noya don't joke like that, I'm still really freaked out." I say walking towards the car which Asahi is driving. I carefully get in and look at Asahi. "Hi, thank you for coming to get me," I say looking down.

"Anytime Suga, I do want to warn you what we have to tell you and show you might hurt you a bit, is that okay?" he asks.

"Um I guess." I quickly say just sitting back.

Time Skip: At Asanoya's House

I slowly grab my bag, scared to go inside. What Asahi told me has made me really panicky. "Suga are you ready?" Asahi asks me very slowly.

"I guess." I say as we start to walk inside. Asahi grabs my hand in a comforting way. He carefully leads me inside Noya following behind us.

As we get further in Ashai tells Noya, "Go on ahead and make sure he is good, okay?"

"Of course." Noya says softly pecking Asahi's lips and walking away. Asahi and I just stand there and we can hear talking. After about a minute Noya yells, "He's ready!"

I stay there and think to myself, who are they talking about and why might it hurt me, oh gosh what if it is like one of the bullies or I don't even know! I get knocked out of my thoughts by Asahi pulling me.

"Suga are you sure you are going to be okay? I was going to just let you go in alone but I can go in with you if you need it." He says looking very concerned.

"No I think I'll be okay, but if I need you I can walk out and get you, right?" I ask slowly.

"Of course now go in there, it is just down the hall and to the left." He says letting my hand go.

"Okay," I say and start the walk. I pass Noya on the way and he pats my back and gives me a smile. As I get closer to the door, I start to freak out. I reach the door and slowly turn the handle and walk in. At first I keep my eyes fixed on the floor and just stand in front of the closed door. I slowly life my head up and I see...him.

His POV:

    Asahi and Noya have let me stay at their place since I got back. I tried to get a hold of Suga but I freaked out and probably seemed like a creep. I am just sitting there and I start to think. High school was so rough, I had to stay strong for everyone who was around me, I couldn't show my weakness. I wanted to be there for everyone but I wasn't there for myself. I really was just an 'idiot teenager' as Noya said... I am drawn out of my thoughts by car doors shutting and about five minutes later Noya comes in.

    He smiles at me and say, "We have a little surprise for you is that okay?"

    "Um yeah I guess." I say slowly. He then yells and leaves after that. I sit there for a little while when I hear the door knob start to turn. Slowly the door opens and a man with silver hair slowly walks in looking at his feet. Slowly he starts to look up and when he sees me his eyes go wide.

    Slowly, he starts to open his mouth and says, "..D-daichi?" I can see tears start to form in his eyes.

    I look at him and say, "Suga?" We just stand there staring at each other when i can't take it. I get up and run towards him giving him a big hug. I quietly whisper, "I am so sorry, I shouldn't have just left, it was so stupid of me and i regretted it everyday. I wanted to come back but I couldn't afford it until now. There was so much I wish I had told you." I start crying and he hugs me back.

    "Daichi I missed you so much. There was so much I wanted to tell you also. I always wondered why you had left but I never knew. I-I love you so much Daichi. I'm sorry if this is too forward but I don't want to lose this chance-" I cut him off by giving him a kiss.

    I pull away and say, "Suga I love you too. That's what I have regretted never telling you. So will you please be mine. I have wanted this since I met you in high school." He just smiles and nods his head and kisses me.

    Outside the door we hear Noya tell Asahi, "I think we did a good job." You can almost hear the smile laced in Noya's voice. I guess everyone always wanted this to happen. I slowly start thinking, was this always why I was Dadchi and Suga was Sugamama...
