Welcome to another Cinderella story :) Sort of.... :) Maya really has never wanted to the ball, never wanted any prince (of those available, I meant.... maybe it had something to do with the fact that princes don't ride white horses these days but prefer flashy sports cars?.... hm, I've got carried away) but saying that this book is a Cinderella story pretty much tells you guys how the plot develops. There is a huge BUT however....
The story has enough drama and tension, the characters are well-developed and have thie own vivid personalities. It is said that the book is based on some TV show called "Boys Over Flowers" but I honestly have no idea what it is, so I'm giving all the praise to the author :)
So you are reading this nice book and enjoying its good humor, but then comes a day when Maya's grandmother arrives... I swear, when I reached the first chapter with that lady, that was the day my husband finally believed that I am crazy and it's final. You see, I've got a three year old monster to keep me entertained through the day, let along my job, so I mostly read at night and read from my phone as well. So when a man is woken up in the dead of night because his wife is laughing her.... everything... off because of the book she's reading instead of sleeping, well....you get the picture :)
I'm telling you for sure, I'll keep this book in my phone forever in order to come back to it if I have a bad day. The story is seriously capable of dragging a person from depression, doctors should consider proscribing it.
Oh, and ladies, try not to go delirious when you see the cast.... hot, hot, hot, smoking hot!!! :)
Just one more thing I must add, so I'd be good... I would honestly have killed Roman and all the others for that idiotic joke in the hospital! Come on, that was plain cruel and sadistic, and.... not cool! Grr!
Ok, I'm done :) Guess I'm off to reread this story right away even though I'm in a good mood at the moment :)
