Hello there, beautiful people. This is going to be short but sweet. Short because I'm sleep deprived and, frankly speaking, depressed; sweet - because the story is amazing.
So, basically:
1. she's blind, he's a Greek god
2. she's quite content with her life, he's bored and wants to quit his job
3. he stumbles across her and is never able to move on
4. lots of love, poor Spidey, bitchy goddesses, broody Hades, sexy Eros, and an unexpected angel
5. he's got black wings, just don't call him a crow ;)
Morpheus... he's a god of dreams, a dreamy god, the god of Gwen-Stacey's dreams... It's absolutely amazing how capable hands can tweak Greek mythology so that you never even have a slightest inclination to cringe. This story is perfect. It's well written; it has the right amount of humour in it; it has tons of allusions, hints and references which you will find pleasure in deciphering (I know, I did); it has strong and well-developed main characters.
In not so many words, I'm happy I came across this book, and I'm definitely going to re-read it some time soon.
