UNFORTUNATELY FOR REMUS LUPIN, his apology had to wait because of Estella's apparently hectic schedule and due to the fact he could never find her alone.

He tried on Monday after double Potions, but when he searched for her, he found that she was already in a deep, secretive conversation with Theodore Fletcher. Remus couldn't bare the thought of apologizing awkwardly in front of the 6th year Ravenclaw. He decided to wait until dinner.

However, he ended up not attending dinner because Sirius and Peter had managed to destroy their dorm room when they decided to practice duel. Everything was all out of place and all the boys stayed in to fix the mess before anyone found out. So, he had to make time on Tuesday to finally reunite with Estella.

Except that's not what happened.

Chaos came on Tuesday as James had done something incredibly stupid, no surprise.

"What do you mean you accidentally dyed Lily Evans' hair green?!" Remus asked in complete bewilderment.

"It was a Potion malfunction!" defended James, flailing his arms as he paced around the dorm."She's out to kill me, mate. I can feel her planning. I can sense it."

"You are being ridiculous. Just apologize,"offered Remus. That's what he should be doing, apologizing to the girl he's hopelessly infatuated with.

"Moony, I can't face her. She'll hex me-"

"You probably deserve it."

"-and she'll never fall in love with me if I'm dead, Moons."

The rest of Tuesday was spent 'protecting' James until he felt safe, which meant he didn't even get a chance to look for Estella.

Remus thought maybe Wednesday would be the day when he found Estella in the Library alone. The pink-haired girl had her nose shoved in a book about Magical Creatures, her face displayed pure concentration and curiosity. Remus couldn't help but smile at the way she chewed on her lip, a nervous tick he had noticed over the years, or at how her hair seemed to fall over her face.

"Estella, hey," Remus breathed, his nerves starting to get the better of him.

Estella lifted her head up, her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at him. She didn't exactly smile, but there was a hint of one.

"Remus, hi," She spoke, her voice came out quieter than she expected."Do you need something? Have the lads done something? Because I can't talk Lily out of murder twice in the span of two days. It's just not possible."

Remus couldn't help but chuckle,"No, no, I just saw you here, and wanted to...say hello, I guess. I didn't expect you to be here, especially not alone. You usually have Fletcher with you."

"Oh yeah, he's got Quidditch practice and I'm not allowed to watch because apparently I'm the enemy when we're on the pitch,"Estella smiled fondly."I have to meet him afterwards though. He promised to revise my essay for Transfiguration since it's due tomorrow."
