This abstract word piece can from spoken word poet Johnny Anomaly who really liked my other pieces and gave me the word for this one.  If you haven't heard about him or don't know what spoken poetry is, you should definitely check him out.

There once was a village that was hidden in between two mountains that nobody could see.  The village was so well hidden that not even other nearby villages knew about them.  In the village they had to provide for themselves by producing their own food and raising cattle for meat.  Because of this, all of the villagers were put to work even the kids.

One kid in particular was smaller than all the rest.  He only reached up to the knees of the kids his age, and the doctors in the village did not know why.  So he was told to climb into the trees and be a watchman as others wouldn't see him.  He wasn't able to do much of anything else; yet he was happy with it.

But one day, his thoughts changed.  The boy wanted to be big and tall like the other boys his age.  He was so small that he could barely hold up his head and see in front of him.  So one night he went to bed wishing he was bigger.  The next day when he woke up, he became taller.  He was know as tall as some toddlers which was an improvement.  He could hold up his head now.

Each day for the next few days, the boy grew increasingly taller until he became a giant.  The boy could now stand tall and not be small anymore.  He could now do more for his village and his people.  He was finally happy.
