Hi, I was writing this chapter on a flight and I realised that I wanted to add just a small extra chapter because I was hoping that this book wouldn't end too quickly. There are a few more characters to make an appearance, like the Fates, Dionysus and, of course, Amphititre. Enjoy this chapter!

Athena

Hermes came to us all and invited us to an Emergency Council. Obviously we knew why, but many were annoyed that Zeus had to stop all the fun. I think that we had gone so far that the lightning, high tides and earthquakes were affecting the mortal world. It would also be annoying for all those who had gone home to come back, considering Zeus' mood, especially Hades and Persephone. Once we had all gathered in the throne room, Zeus started going on about the effect on Olympus and that they had to find another way. So I thought that maybe we could actually go to the mortal realm, greet their king, and ask for suggestions. The others seemed to like it so we decided that we would make a trip to King Cecrops.

King Cecrops was an extraordinary creature as he was part king part snake. His city was very prosperous under his rule, but he knew that if he could have a deity looking over, it would become even more powerful. When I heard his request, I immediately realised that this could be the city I was looking. I had nearly got it when Poseidon decided that he wanted it out of the blue. Ah, Poseidon, that annoying guy who was so lonesome and disgusting that he wanted to fight me. I was as strong as them for Zeus created me. As if he thought I'd give up against him. I can't wait to defeat him in whatever Cecrops suggests. Although I would like to make a visit to the Fates first.

Poseidon

Where on Olympus is that stupid Athena? I want to know how she bides her time. I'd like to know whether she thinks that I'll ever lose against her. I am the strongest and mightiest God there is. This idea isn't great either. I'd have loved to defeat her, in war. The way that feuds are meant to be settled. Not some sneaky way out by bringing some mortal into it. Clearly Zeus was worried. What has even happened to his war streak? Maybe Hera has something to do about this.

Hera

Poseidon is getting on my nerves. He is annoying every God or Goddess there is. And, as I'm furious at Zeus, I thought I'd go on Poseidon's side. But then, as Zeus couldn't be approached, as The Queen, I was approached by everyone. And it was clear that I had to go to Athena for two reasons. Firstly it would be in good health to do so. And secondly, because there were too many bolts I had to dodge. Zeus, again. The cause of all my problems.

I realised that Athena wasn't around and wondered were she was. She could be in the Underworld, with Persephone. The Mortal World. Or with the Fates.

And then realisation dawned on me. She didn't want to fight him, or know the outcome of this war. She was thinking of Poseidon, who is clearly troubled at the moment.

I immediately teleported myself to the Fates.
