Poseidon

I was going to have to win this. After all, my pride and dignity was at stake. We decided to meet tomorrow outside the palaces of Olympus, and battle on an empty field. I could see her eyes twinkling as she thought of new devices to use against me. But I had the destruction of tsunamis and earthquakes combined. I had the speed of the fastest stallions and strength of the earth. She was going to meet me and my power. I went back to my realm and continued life as normal, knowing that there would be uproar in Olympus.

Athena

That wretch was going to pay for trying to challenge the wisest there was. He was dealing with the goddess of war herself. I let my rage get the better of me as I enhanced all the powers that I had. I knew what we had done to Olympus but I didn't mind. Anything to get what I wanted.

Artemis

Sitting on my silver throne, I watched the chaos. Black tendrils were rising from the ground extending out from Hades. Zeus was creating electricity and flinging his bolts everywhere. Demeter was making all the plants wilt as she fumed at Hades. I don't think she has still realised that they are in love. Hermes was mischievously infuriating everyone, but what do I expect, he's the god of mischief too. I could see Hera getting involved. Dionysus was drunk and spilling wine. I decided I'd had enough. I stood up, summoned my bow and arrow and shot sleeping arrows at them all. With that, I left for Athena's palace, knowing that the Olympians would be coming after me for putting them to sleep. Athena was my longest and most understanding friend, and all were scared of her fury. It is said that when she is angered she is worse than Zeus and Hera.

Athena

I heard her and opened the window. She arrived with her silver huntresses which meant they were going to say something.

'We will be there to protect you should the need arise. The gods are bound to keep fighting tomorrow.'

And with that they left, soon just silver dots in the sky.

Artemis and I worked on all that I need tomorrow.

The day I would crush Poseidon.
