Chapter 4 - Fiance

What the hell is he doing here?!

Agad nagtama ang mata naming dalawa at maging ito ay nagulat rin sa pagkikita namin. Really, what is he doing here? I have an idea but no, I will not consider that possibility.

Agad naman itong nakahuma at masuyong ngumiti sa mga tao sa lamesa.

"Happy to see me Margo?" I can feel the mockery on his words. Agad akong nag-iwas ng tingin. Gusto ko siyang ituhog sa bbq stick!

"Magkakilala kayo?" His mom asked. "Have a seat beside Margo first hijo." Na sinunod naman nito.

"Yes." Ang dugtong pang sagot ni Kurt. Tanga ba siya? Why don't he just pretend to not know me. Wala akong balak palalimin ang ugnayan naming dalawa.

"Great to hear that hijo. The two of you then will get along well with each other. I know that you are not new to this, aren't you John?" And my mother gave a genuine smile to the jerk. Isang maling sagot at hindi magiging maayos ang lahat.

"Kurt will do tita. And yes I've been to some marriage arrangements but unfortunately it didn't turned out well. Hopefully this one will, tita." Kung pwede ko siyang saksakin ng bolo ni Andres Bonifacio ay ginawa ko na nang paulit-ulit. What the hell is he saying? He should object! Damn it!

"Really Kurt?" I can feel the bitterness in my voice. Die you jerk! Just die!

"Yes Margo." And he smiled at me. Damn that plasticity. I should give credits on his acting for a job well done.

"So we should order first." Anunsyo ni Daddy kaya agad akong napahawak sa kamay nito. "It will be okay honey." Dad whispered. Tumango naman ako.

The dinner went on at talaga namang binibwisit ako ng lalaking 'to. Pagnatapos talaga ito ay tatadyakan ko ito kung saan masakit.

Well I noticed that his dad is kind and fond to be with while her mother is such a wonderful person. Gusto ko silang pareho, unlike him. Kahit kailan hindi ko magugustuhan ang pag-uugali niya.

"So maybe pwede na namin kayong iwan na dalawa nang mapagkilanlan kayong mabuti." He nodded, I didn't. "Bye hija," his mom hugged me and whispered how happy she is knowing me in person, his dad too.

"Be a good girl Margo. Don't disappoint me and your dad."

"I know." She gave me a peck on the cheeks.

"Call me." I nod and Dad hug me.

Tinanaw ko muna silang papaalis bago tuluyang hinarap itong lalaking ito. He's smiling at alam kong pang-aasar na ngiti iyon. Naiinis akong makita siya. And knowing the fact that he is the one I will be marrying, made me wanna puke.

"Uwi na rin ako." Tumayo na ako pero agad niya akong pinigilan.

"So you wouldn't want to talk about us?"

"There is no us. At kung pwede stop acting like you are a well mannered fiance wanna be in front of my parents. Huwag kang mag-alala, wala akong balak na pakasalan ang isang tulad mo." Rage of anger run into my system. Pwede bang manapok kahit isa lang?

"So you really think na gusto ko rin 'to? For you information Ms. Saxon I'm here because I'm tired of my parents nagging me all the time to be married to whom they wanted. I have been through a lot of marriage arrangements so it's not new to me at all. Do you really think I want to be tied with women, even you? Of course not." Seryoso nitong turan.

"They why are you doing this?" Hinila niya muna ako paupo ulit bago nagsalita.

"Para asarin ka." Nagdugtong naman ang kilay ko.
