~A/N~

Ok I reallyyyyy need you to read this.
So I've been reading comments on the first few chapters and everyone's saying that Sally's parents are overprotective of her and treat her like a child - there is a reason behind that, and it's exactly what I've been aiming for as well. Also, a lot of you want to know what happened in the summer of 2010, so I'm just going to say that it's a big reason for the way her parents treat her. I think I've given out enough now, thank you for reading this long-ass note and enjoy x

"Hey," I grinned as I pushed through a few people to get to him; he was staring at his phone, a frown on his face that I didn't give much thought. He looked up at me as he heard my voice, his hard expression not disappearing but he did start walking toward me. If only I wasn't so tired, I would have been running in his direction.

"Change of plans," Liam muttered as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me in a hug, leaving a kiss on the top of my head. To be honest, I was a little surprised by this PDA of some sort, but I didn't mind; I didn't mind at all.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I finally realized what he'd told me. Liam sighed and lightly pushed me toward the exit of the building, and I stared at the side of his head as he pulled his hood on, waiting for an answer.

"Um... I have to finish a presentation that's due Monday, and I haven't started it yet," He said with a sour grimace, "So you're getting that drink at my house."

"Wait, woah," I slowed down, feeling more awake all of a sudden. "Your house? Why not your apartment?"

"I'm not moving in until next week, I told you." He turned his head to look at me, a barely visible smile on his face, and that's all it took me to remember his offer from the night before; he did mention he's moving in, next week. Dammit.

"Uh, alright." I bit my lip as we walked outside, the freezing air making me close my eyes for a second or two. "How about... how about you get your stuff for the presentation or whatever, and you could do it somewhere else? Like, we could go to a café or something..."

As I trailed off, Liam only shook his head and didn't speak for another minute, until we'd gotten to his car. Since he wasn't giving me an answer nor was he saying anything, it was obvious that we weren't going anywhere but his house. And the thought made my stomach do backflips.

"Alright," He began with a sigh, as he sat in and slowly buckled his seatbelt. "What's the big deal?"

"What?" I said bluntly.

"You're clearly a little less than thrilled to be going to my house, what's the reason for that?"

I almost rolled my eyes; he really needed to know everything that was going on inside of my head, didn't he? Well, it was his house after all.

"I just..." I shrugged awkwardly, staring at my lap as he pulled out of the school lot. "It's different now."

"What?" Liam nearly laughed, "How is it different?"

"Well, usually when I'm going at your house, it's because my parents are dragging me there," I explained, and heard him stifle a laugh. Okay then. "And now... well, first we go on a date, then we spend the night together, and now you're taking me home to your parents. It's different."

I glanced at Liam as he said nothing for a minute, and noticed a slight frown on his face. Here it comes. "Well... you know, when you say it like that, it is different."
