Hazel's POV

Mum was doing nothing!

Winter and Connor basically moved back in to help out.

Everyone was miserable at the fact Grandma was gone.

Carly cried herself to sleep and made me promise not to tell anyone.

Jackson, Hunter, Evie an Sabrina spent most of their time in their bedrooms.

Orlando, Noah, Piper and Harper became really naughty and Winter was having to make excuses for them.

Winter had to take over the house, taking us to school, cooking for us and cleaning.

Mum wasn't doing ANYTHING.

She spent most her time in her bedroom staring at walls and sleeping.

Winter signed her up to therapy but Mum refused to go.

What was worse was that the summer holidays were coming up.

We were sat around the table eating and Orlando and Jackson were having a playful argument.

Mum came downstairs and stood in the doorway.

"How lovely to see you, Demi." Winter said smiling.

Mum swore at Winter, "I have huge headache and I can't sleep with this arguing."

That was a load of rubbish, me and Carly had music full blast earlier, and she had slept through it.

Winter's smile vanished.

"What are you feeding them?" Demi asked.

"I just made sandwiches." Winter said.

"Evie told me you had them for lunch." Mum frowned.

Evie looked really guilty even though she had no reason to be.

"They need at least one hot meal a day!" Mum shouted.

"Connor go and get your stuff." Winter whispered then shouted. "DO IT YOURSELF THEN!"

Mum seemed taken back.

"Don't shout at me." She said calmly.

"YOU'VE BEEN IN YOUR ROOM ALL DAY FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, EXPECTING ME TO SLAVE AROUD FOR YOU? WELL I'VE HAD ENOUGH. YOU'VE GOT MY NUMBER CALL ME WHEN YOU CAN APOLOGISE!" Winter shouted.

Mum shouted a very rude phrase after Winter.

"I COULD SAY THE SAME THING ABOUT YOU, MOTHER!" Winter said.

"YOU'RE NOT MY REAL DAUGHTER GET OUT OF HERE!" Mum shouted.

Winter went into the front room and I followed her.

"Please come back." I whispered.

Winter grabbed a pen and wrote on my arm.

"Call me." She whispered.

She hugged me and left our lives for good.
