Demi's POV
We went to the park and I sat on the bench and watched them.
They were playing tag with each other and Hazel kept coughing.
She must be coming down with a cold.
We went home and Hazel's nose was running and her breathing was heavy.
I left the girls to go and play in Carly's room and went to make tea.
I heard Hazel coughing violently then Carly shouting my name.
I ran upstairs and saw Hazel coughing like mad.
"Momma! I can't breathe!!" Hazel shouted gasping for air.
I began to panic.
Stay calm Demi.
"Ok Hazel look match my breathing." I said leaning her head against my chest.
It wasn't working.
"Momma!" Hazel cried.
"Carly, get me the phone!" I said and Carly ran off.
She brought back the phone and then I rang an ambulance.
*
The ambulance took Hazel into the ambulance.
"Momma, don't leave me!!" Hazel shouted.
I scooped up Carly and we got into the back of the ambulance.
I held her hand on the way to the hospital.
"It's okay, Hazel, calm down!" I reassured.
We arrived at the hospital and they took her away.
Carly cried into my neck.
"Will she be okay, Momma??" Carly asked.
"Yes of course!" I said, trying to convince her and myself.
We sat down in some chairs and I told Carly to have some sleep so she did.
It was then.
And only then, I realised.
Both Carly and Hazel called me, Momma!
