Vince was busy on the construction site but he really couldn’t concentrate. His mind was occupied by Diadem... and Rohan. He just couldn't help but think about the possibility that the two might have been spending good times together while he was busy at work.

He was trying to stop thinking about her and just goddamn concentrate with his work. He actually needed to double time as his deadline to turn over his project to Rohan was fast approaching.

Na-delay ang pag-construct ng Temptress Residential Housing Units dahil sa maulang panahon. May dalawang linggo ring natigil ang trabaho nila nang nakaraang buwan. That was two weeks worth of back logs. Kaya ngayon ay kailangan niyang mag-concentrate sa trabaho. Pero hindi niya maiwaglit sa kanyang isipan si Diadem.

What was the witch doing at this moment? Was she out flirting with Rohan? He shut his eyes hard at the thought. He really couldn’t help himself but feel murderous with the thought of Diadem and Rohan together. Mas lalo pang nakadagdag sa inis niya ang isiping may gusto ang dalawa sa isa't-isa.

It was evident that the witch liked his friend. And Rohan expressed interest towards her, too. In fact, he wanted to move on from his failed relationship with Diadem. And Rohan seemed serious with the idea.

Kapag nagkasarilinan ang dalawa ay hindi malabong magkakasundo ang mga ito at magkaroon ng relasyon. Hindi pupuwede iyon. Matagal na niyang pinlano ang paghihiganti niya at hindi pupuwedeng masira iyon. He had to pursue his plans by hook or by crook. He wouldn't allow Rohan to get close to Diadem by any chance. He would not allow anyone get in the way of his plans and execute his sweet revenge. Even if Rohan was a friend.

Naninikip ang dibdib niya kaya huminga siya nang malalim upang maibsan ang paninikip niyon. Everytime he thinks of Diadem, he would be under turmoil of emotions. The witch was dangerous... he knew that in the first place. Unang kita pa lamang niya sa picture nito ay alam na niyang mapanganib ito. Her beauty was potent and lethal. And that was hard fact. Ang taong itinuring na niyang parang tunay na ina ay namatay dahil dito.

Damn her! Memories of the distant past rushed like raging storm surge in his mind. Mga mapapait na ala-alang hindi niya kailanman makakalimutan. Sampung taon na rin ang nakalilipas.

"Sir, okay lang ba kayo?"

Napapitlag siya sa puntong iyon. Nasa harapan niya ang kanyang chief engineer at matamang nakatitig sa kanya.

"Okay lang ba kayo, Sir Vince? Bigla na lang kayong natulala eh."

Napakurap siya. Pagkatapos ay napailing. "I'm okay, Andrew," tipid niyang sagot. "Saan na nga ba tayo?" He tried to grope for his sanity and whisked some stupid thoughts away.

"We're talking about the completion of Temptress Residential Housing Units, Sir Vince. We're doing a great progress now. We're hitting the seventy percent mark already," Andrew explained.

"We have six more weeks to go, Andrew," aniya habang inililibot ang paningin sa site.

"The weather is good, sir. I'm pretty positive that work will go smoothly. We'll hit the deadline," kampanteng tugon nito.

"Good. But we have to double time, Andrew. I want to turn over the project sooner. May mahalaga akong aayusin sa mga susunod na araw. I want you to take over while I'm on an important engagement. Okay?" Hindi na niya kayang hintayin pa ang pagtatapos ng project nila. Kailangan na niyang maisakatuparan ang mga plano niya.
