"Alright, stay cool, Stella. It's okay, keep yourself together," I collected myself as I stood and slipped out the restroom doors. I could hear someone trying to smash in. I maneuvered past him, ignoring the deathly glare he shot my way.

Hopefully Cameron had gone to catch his plane by now.

Ugh, why, oh, why did I do that? Now he probably thinks I'm an emotional wreck of a guy who hates my own gender!

The dorm was empty as expected, except for Billy sitting in the middle of the floor working on a soda-can pyramid.

"Where've you been, miss Morrison?" he asked.

I averted my eyes from his glare. The one thing I hated about Billy; he knew me well enough to tell my emotions. Even when I did my best to hide them.

"The bleachers," I cleared my throat.

"Uhuh," he shot me a skeptical look, "that's why when I went there I saw only Cameron.."

I looked over at him, "was he mad?"

He shrugged, "if he was, he hid it well. But he said you had one of your 'girl moments' again and stormed off." Billy laughed.

"Girl moment?" wow, they must be catching on. Yikes!

"Yea," Billy confirmed as he stacked a can gingerly atop another, "so you wanna tell me what's wrong or do I have to shake it out of you?"

I rolled my eyes. There was no use in saying I was ok. 'Cause knowing Billy, he'd bother me about it until I spilled.

I leaned against a bunk and bit down on my lip, "I don't know if I want to do this anymore."

He looked up, giving me a worried look, "do what?"

I flared my arms, "this whole Steve Morner thing! I'm tired of it... he doesn't know who I am. I'm such a coward.. I accuse him of hiding who he really is and guess what I'm doing?"

Billy kicked over the pyramid after the top one fell off several times, "just one more week, Stella. You got this. Remember, this was your idea anyway," he rubbed a hand over his bald head, stubs of hair sprouting into curls, "and I still haven't forgiven you for making me shave off my 'fro."

I frowned, not really in the mood for joking. Billy strolled over beside me and wrapped two arms around me.

"Don't worry," he said, "whatever happens or doesn't happen, I'm still gonna be here for you."
