Instinctively, I reach the rooftop and look around the empty space, quite disappointed to not find any trace of him yet. After looking around thoroughly, I walk towards the doors leading back inside the building hesitantly as worry grows within me.

What if Yui did something to him? She was threatening me before- she couldn't be serious-

I interrupt myself from worrying further when I feel a pair of arms wrap around me from behind and turn my head to see a fluff of white hair.

Aish~ This albino!

I unwrap his arms around my shoulder and turn around with a pout evident on my lips. I notice his familiarly distant gaze as he turns his head to look at the ground, the light wind whistling to break any silence that would be between us otherwise. I feel a few strands against my cheeks and push them away while waiting for him to speak. When he doesn't, I take the initiative by rolling my eyes and sighing.

"Subaru, what is this? Do you know how worried I was about you? Even Reiji was wondering where you were. Reiji! And knowing him, I would say that's an accomplishment, right there." I cross my arms to intimidate him so he can respond but when he continues looking at the ground. I bend down to block his view and he stumbles back, startled from my actions.

"I could ask you the same, Shinju. Do you know how worried we are about you? Do you?" He emphasizes and tilts his head in suspicion, now crossing his arms to mimic my posture. I feel taken aback at the sudden question as I find myself at a loss of words. I open my mouth to argue against him but only end up taking a deep breath as I look away from him and towards the horizon.

"Well, it's just me being paranoid is all." I give him the same excuse I gave Reiji and shake my head nonchalantly. "I just need some rest." I feel my expression tighten as his fixated gaze on me narrows but he looks away, looking defeated. "Anyway, the others are waiting so we shouldn't make them wait any longer than you already have!" I smile to reduce the tension between us as I grab onto his wrist and begin running towards the door.

"I made them wait?! Excuse me!" He yells as he tries to catch up to my unusually fast steps so he doesn't get dragged by me constantly.

"You're excused! You were the one who disappeared on us, remember?" I tilt my head while I state as a matter-of-fact. Without giving him enough time to answer, I jump down a flight of stairs, forcing Subaru to yell in surprise before reacting quickly and following my movements. Without further ado, I pull him outside of the building and towards the brothers excitedly once our gazes meet. I walk over to them with an expressionless Subaru behind me and stop near the group, ready and enthusiastic to leave.

"Alright, let's get going!" I clap my hands after letting go of Subaru and walk over to the limo without another word. They all soon follow and sit in the limo as I look up to see Yui enter last, sitting next to Ayato.

"Well, what is the plan for today?" Laito leans forward and places his elbow on his knee for support with his hand under his chin. I take in a breath while thinking over his question and he turns to me instantly as if expecting an answer right away. I feel his hopeful gaze waver as I close my mouth, not finding an appealing idea.

"Uh, I don't know, actually. I was just hoping for a quiet night." I shrug with a guilty smile on my features as he hums in thought and nods slowly, turning his head to look away from me.

"Well, we could just spend some time with you, you know? It's been a while since we got to even talk to you properly." Kou suggests and points at all the Mukami brothers as I hum, nodding unsurely.
