Chapter 31

I woke up With the sun shinning in my eyes.

I looked next to me and Hayes was laying there, sleeping.

I slowly got up, trying not to wake him up.

I noticed I was still dressed in the clothes from last night.

I heard Hayes' phone buzz on the dresser next to him and he started to stir awake.

He opened his eyes and looked over to me.

He sat up and faced me "Nicole, please hear me out when I say this," He said while rubbing his eyes "I really am sorry. I have no idea what I've been doing these past few days, and honestly the dumbest decision was breaking up with you because it caused so much drama and I don't want to not date you. Shit, you're perfect, who wouldn't want to date you. You have every right to be mad, and if you never want to get back together again, I totally understand.. But did me breaking up with you really mean nothing to you?" "No, it meant everything to me, I just didn't want to cry. I didn't want to show that you had won." "Won? I wasn't winning if I didn't have you." He said and we both laughed

"Can we both at least start out as friends?" Hayes asked "Yes."

"I heard you're leaving too..." He trailed off "I might stay." I shrugged

My phone buzzed from my pillow, indicating that I got a text

Is 7:00 a good time to see the movie?- Xavier

Yeah. Sounds great- Nicole

K. I'll pick you up at 6:30- Xavier

I'll be ready by then- Nicole

"Who are you texting?" Hayes asked "Just Laura." I lied. I'm not telling Hayes about Xavier just yet.

"When did you say you might be leaving?" He asked "When you guys leave for the next place you're going to." "Oh." "But, if we stay on good terms, I might as well stay cause I love to spend time with all of you guys." "Including me?" He asked "Yes, Hayes. Including you." I smiled.

Hopefully we can stay on good terms and he can stop being a dumbass. I honestly want to get back together with him. I'm not gonna lie, but I guess we'll have to see how everything goes.

Lol Long time no see.

I have a few things to go through
