"He was nice enough to buy plane tickets so they could meet you and I could see you, but you're kicking him out! Don't you ever talk to me about what's fair and what isn't again. You don't know what fair means. You never have." She was shocked. I know why. She thought I was going to let her walk all over me again. I don't think so. "Nanny, that's Geor, Gustav, Tom, Bill, and Jessica. Bill, would you like to drive around with me so I can show you the town?" I needed to talk to him. "Okay."

"She doesn't like me, doesn't she?" He didn't have any emotion in his face. "I'm afraid she judges before she knows. I'm sorry." We were at a red light, so he looked at me. Yeah, there's hurt in his eyes. "Well, what did she say?" Okay. "She doesn't want you there. I told her there was no problem with that, but if you couldn't stay, I wouldn't say." There was a long moment of silence before he pulled in somewhere in Maggie Valley. We were at a hotel.
