After we watched the clouds go by, Bill drove me back home. "Jessica, I'm back." I

started to hear some giggling in the kitchen. I went in to see why she was laughing so

much and Tom was there. She was holding a single red rose. I thought, "Aw, how rom

antic. Tom must have brought it to her." Just then, there was a single white rose with

a small heart shaped box of caramel chocolates. I love white roses. I just hope they

know Valentine's Day isn't for another month.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked. "Hey, Catey. I see you got Bill's rose." said Tom. They must

have planned this. You know, a twin thing. "Yeah. It's really sweet. I'm going to call

him and thank him." "Use my phone. He won't expect you on the other end." "Okay."

"Yeah, Tom?" "How did you know white roses are my favorite flowers?" I asked play

fully. "I thought you would love roses, since you're sweet and pretty like one, but that

you'd rather have a white one to show the different side of you." Aw, how cute! He

matched me and me flower! "I love it, Bill. It's beautiful. Thank you." "You're wel

come."

Jessica, Tom, and I just hung out talking about everything (well, they were talking) to

pass the time. At 6, Bill showed up. "Are you all ready?" Tom and Jessica were alread

y on their way to the car. I didn't realize until now that I was still holding my rose. "Ca

tey, I hope you know you're beautiful; just like that rose." "You're so sweet." I said be

fore I kissed him. "They're waiting on us. We better go." "Good idea."

I sat up front with Bill while Tom and Jessica sat in the back. We were singing along

to random songs. I started wondering what they were doing because Bill passed right

by McDonalds. "I thought we were going to McDonalds." said Jessica. So did I. "And

ruin the surprize?" Another surprize? We ended up having to put blind folds on our

eyes and trusting them to guide us through a park. I had no idea what they were do

ing. When they took off my blind fold, I saw a red and black checkered cloth on a table

with a vanilla scented candle in the middle of it with pasta and pizza hot and ready to

eat. I drank Dr. Pepper with my food. After we were done eating, we sat there, too lazy

to move.
