Niall: "Where are we going, Niall?" He was pulling you along, both of your feet moving quickly. Before you could figure out where you were, you heard the crashing of waves. He winked at you before leading you onto the sand, which was soft and cold underneath your feet. You took a deep breath in, the smell of ocean filling your nose. It took you back to when you would go to the beach every summer with your parents. He had you sit down on the sand and he disappeared for a few moments. When he came back, he had a guitar in his hands. "Are you going to play for me?" You loved it when he played a song for you and so you sat up, your legs crossed, your hands folded in your lap. His fingers began picking at the strings and he took a deep breath before he let the words escape his lips. "Marry me. Today and every day. Marry me if I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe. Say you will. Say you will." He fingers halted and he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. "Say you will marry me, (Y/N)." Tears gathered in your eyes and you weren't sure what to say. All you could do was nod your head and you felt the ring being slipped on your finger. His lips met yours in a slow kiss, his hands finding yours.

Louis: Louis had gotten home really late one night and by the time he arrived you were already asleep, but you stirred whenever his body weight hit the bed. "Go back to bed, love." His arms snaked around your waist and you closed your eyes again. When you woke up in the morning, Louis was gone and you assumed he had already left for work. You were somewhat disappointed because you hadn't seen him in a long time. You were getting ready for work and after you got dressed, you went to your jewelry box. You were deciding whether to call Louis on the way to work and you weren't even paying attention to the ring that you were putting on. You always wore a ring that your parents had given you for your birthday a few years ago, but when you slipped the ring on, it felt different against your skin. You glanced down, a gasp escaping your lips. "Louis Tomlinson!" You ran into the kitchen where Louis was waiting for you. When he saw you, he dropped to one knee. "Will you marry me, (Y/N)?" "You don't even have to ask me!" He stood up and you threw your arms around him, his arms settling around your waist.

Liam: You had just gotten home from a long day at work and you were so tired. You didn't even realize it until you almost slipped on some rose petals that were covering the ground. You turned in the direction of the arrow on the ground and picked up a small note. In Liam's handwriting it said: I remember the first day we met and even though I didn't know that I wanted to spend my life with you, I knew that there was something special about you. I still feel that way. You set the note down and continued walking. Another arrow stopped you and you turned to find another note. Again, in Liam's handwriting it said: When you first told me that you were pregnant, I'll admit that I was scared. But I knew that it was going to be all right, because I knew that our child would have the best mother in the world and I was right. Now come out to the balcony. We have something to give you. You slowly walked back to the balcony, your heart pounding. When you pushed the door open, you saw your little boy standing there. He was dressed in a tuxedo, his blond hair blowing in the wind. "Baby, where's daddy?" You knelt down to his level and he smiled. He lifted a sign up that you hadn't noticed he was holding. It read: Mommy, will you marry Daddy? "Of course I will marry your daddy." You picked your son up just as Liam came around the corner. A small velvet box was in his hands and when he got closer, he opened it up to reveal a ring. "Using our child to ask me to marry you. Very clever." He smiled and slipped the ring on your finger. Your child cheered as Liam's lips met yours.

Zayn: Zayn and you were out shopping one day and when he pulled you into a jewelry store, you were quite confused. To be honest, you had never really talked about getting married, so the thought never crossed your mind when you walked into the shop. You spent time looking at necklaces and bracelets, saving the diamond rings for last because they were your favorite things to look at. Zayn was standing next to you and a sales associate had just laid down a ring size chart in front of you. "What size ring do you wear, (Y/N)?" You turned to him and raised your eyebrows. Honestly it kind of made you upset that he was asking, because he was making it obvious that you were going to get an engagement ring and you had always wanted it to be a surprise. "Really Zayn, you could have come up with something better than this." He shrugged and crossed his arms. "Well if you don't think those sizes will work, why don't you try this one on for size?" You turned to him to see him down on one knee, a ring in his hand. "Zayn. ." "Will you marry me, (Y/N)?" You hit his shoulder and smiled. He stood up and slipped the ring on your finger before pulling you into his arms. "You're horrible, Zayn." "But you still love me." "I do."

Harry: You had always told Harry how you wanted to go to Times Square and celebrate New Years there and it just so happened that the band was performing there this year, so he invited you to tag along. It was a few minutes to midnight, and you were buried in the crowd with Harry, his arms around you. You pressed your lips into his cheek. "This has been a great year, Hazza. I'm so glad I've gotten to spend every moment with you." He pressed his lips against yours, lingering for a few moments before pulling away. "I think the new year is going to start off great." He gave you a wink as the countdown reached twenty. It got to ten and you both started counting down with everyone. You were standing slightly in front of Harry, shouting at the top of your lungs. "5. . 4. .3. .2. .1. ." You turned around to Harry, the words Happy New Year about to leave your throat when you noticed that he was holding a ring in between his fingers. "Nothing would make me happier to start the new year off by you saying that you'll marry me and spend the rest of your life with me." Your mouth fell open and you were speechless. Everyone around you was talking and kissing. "Harry. . Of course I'll marry you!" You pulled his face to yours, your lips meeting his in a kiss. It was the type of kiss that makes you feel like a teenager again and makes your head spin. He slipped the ring on your finger and looked back up at you. "Happy New Year, love." "Happy New Year, Harry."
