As he notices my mouth hanging wide open he
starts to laugh and so do I as I snuggle in next
to him. "I wonder what my Mom would say if
she saw us and didn't know we were dating?"
I say. "Hmmm... I don't know? Hey have you
told Celia yet?" he asks. "OH, MY GOSH NO
I HAVEN'T. I completely forgot with the whole
food poisoning thing," I say. "I'm going to tell
her right when I wake up', I add. "It's getting
late, but I know she is going to wake up puking
so I was wondering if you can stay the night. You
can sleep in the guest room," I say. "Sure," he says.
After that we continue talking. "Carrie can I tell you
something I've never told anyone before?" he asks
as I lift my head off his chest. "Sure," I say and when
I look up at him he looks very serious and at the right
angle I can see a glint of a tear forming in his eye.
