The movie was finally done and I was finally back home with my kids who were keeping me on my toes. It had been about a month since we finished up and during then I've barely had time to do anything outside of work and taking care of my kids.
Kendall walked out as soon as I came home and the next day we sat Dallas down and told him what was going on with us and how the family dynamic would be now. Keziah was still young so she didn't truly understand but I still explained it to her the best I could. All she wanted was to spend time with her daddy every now and then so we arranged a flexible joint custody agreement so it wasn't a set schedule.
Dallas wasn't Kendall's biological son so we didn't didn't have to worry about legal custody agreement for him but also decided he could spend time with Kendall whenever he wanted to because that was his main and prominent father figure and I couldn't take that away from him.
I was currently at home relaxing on the couch because both of the kids were both Kendall when my phone rang. I turned the volume down slightly before picking up my phone and answering.
"Tai Taii!!" I heard Taraji say as her face appeared in the screen.
"Rajii!! Hi pooh how you been?" I asked with a smile as I adjusted how I was sitting.
"I'm good baby, how have you and the kids been?" She asked as she walked around her house.
"We've been alright. They're both with Kendall so I finally have a little me time before all these interviews." I replied.
"I know it's about to be hectic but I finally get to see you again!! I'm so excited, I missed you!" She said with a smile that made my heart flutter.
"I missed you more Shug. I was actually thinking about moving back to L.A after the movie." I confessed making her jump around.
"Yes! I need you guys closer to me since my only son acts like he's too good for his mama." She said with an eyeroll that made me laugh.
"Well I need to find a place, can you help me?" I asked, bringing my hand up and gently biting on my long acrylic nail as I awaited get answer.
"Actually I can. There's some beautiful condos about twenty minutes away from me that are available and my realtor has an open house right before the movie release if you want to come and check it out." She said making me sigh in relief.
"Thank God you know of some places. I want to move like, yesterday." I said making her laugh.
"I can send you all of that info later. What I need to know is what are you wearing on all these press runs?! I can't put an outfit together to save my life and Jason is overbooked cause of all these award shows." She said as she propped her phone up on her vanity mirror in her room.
