EXPECTING FOURTY

"GORGEOUS!" BUNGAD sa'kin ng mga kaibigan ko pag pasok nila sa kwarto ko, they are good now wearing their purple bathrobes. Inaayusan pa ako pati ang buhok ko, kaya ang mga kaibigan ko ay nasa gilid lang.

"I saw the boys earlier, they are on their photoshoots now" sabi ni Xayrille, tumango naman ako. "Ma'am, the groom's gift is already here!" sabi ng staff nag thumbs-up naman ako. Pumasok si Mommy sa kwarto ko at kita ko kung paano siya naluha, tinapos lang ang make-up ko bago ko nilapitan si Mommy.

"You're so beautiful, anak" Mommy said and hug me, I stop myself from crying. Hindi pa ako pwedeng umiyak dahil masisira ang make-up ko, niyakap ako ni Mommy. "Proceed na po tayo sa photoshoot" sabi ng staff, tumango naman ako.

May photoshoot kami ngayon, I'm wearing a white bathrobe for our shoot. I'm with my bridesmaids which are my friends, para natural lang yun dahil tawanan at kwentuhan lang gaya ng instructions ng camera man and stuff.

Pagkatapos ng shoot na yun ay inayusan na ulit nila ako, ibang hairstyle naman. Next outfit ay simple dress, I'm wearing a white dress. Naka-lugay ang buhok ko, at inayusan lang nila ako. Nakakapagod pero alam kong worth it naman ang lahat ng ito pag natapos, alam kong lahat ng ito ay may kapalit na kasiyahan.

"Just toast the wine and drink it" sabi ng staff ng abutan kami ng wine glass, ako ang nagsalin ng wine sa baso nila. "To Finley and Ashton's wedding!" they said and toast the glass before drinking it.

After a couple of camera shots with my bridesmaids and my solo shot, ay tapos na. And for our last outfit, my actual wedding gown. Tinulungan ako ng team ko na isuot ang gown ko, pumunta rin si Xayrille para silipin ako at kung okay lang ang gown.

And it's really perfect! Inayusan na nila ako, it's just a simple make-up but it's revealed my own beauty, after nun ay lumabas na ako para sa photoshoot again. Mas marami ngayon dahil ito na yung main, naka-suot na din ang mga bridesmaids ko ng purple dress!

"Gorgeous ng bride!" sabi ni Zharina, she's my maid of honor. Dark purple ang suot niya, samantalang ang iba ay light lang. Nag group hug kaming lahat, gusto ko na talagang maiyak pero pinigilan ko!

They also give me my bouquet, it's violet roses with lavender on it. Pati sa buhok ko na naka-bun ay may design din na mga lavender, it's really perfect! My dream wedding is happening!

After ng photoshoot with my girls, parents naman and my brother. "Ate! Ang ganda mo!" sabi ni Francho ng makalapit sa'kin at niyakap ako, I almost cried in his shoulder! "Thank you" I said and we do shoots again.

Pumunta rin si Kenchie at may picture din kaming tatlo ulit, pati si Papa ay nandito. Pagkatapos ng maraming picture na yun ay lumapit sa'kin si Tita Ashley at Tito Carl. Tita give me a box, and when I open it it's revealed a beautiful jewelries.

"It's for you iha, welcome to our family" Tita said and hug me, I force myself not to cry more. She hug me, and Tito also give me a paper bag from luxurious brand. "Welcome to our family" sabi ni Tito tumango naman ako.

May picture ako with them, and they finally give me Ashton's gift. It was moon lamp, he also have letter on it. "Should I read this out loud?" tanong ko sa staff, nag thumbs up naman sila.

"To Veronica" I said reading his message, "I'll be waiting for you in front of the aisle today, and I'll forever love you and hold your hand for the rest of my life. Take this gift my moon, as my love and loyalty to you. I love you to the moon and back, gorgeous" I read and I wiped the tears on my eyes.

May picture din ako with my parents, at mas naiyak ako ng yakapin ako ni Daddy. "My daughter is finally getting married" sabi ni Daddy at kahit na pigilan ko ay hindi ko na napigilan dahil naiiyak na ako, I cried on Daddy's shoulder.
