James takes a part of the skin on his lower arm and pinches it. It leaves a circular red mark on this arm.
"What are you doing?" Lily asks obviously she saw him. He becomes flustered and his ear light up red like Christmas. He puts his arms behind himself and says quickly, "nothing. Nothing at all."
Lily smiles ag him and struts over. She hugs him and grabs the arm he hurt. She looks at it up and down and spots the red circle.
"Why did you pinch yourself?" She asks. He says, "I was just... I was just..." Lily had never seen James this nervous before.
She smiles at him. He finishes, "I was just checking to see if I was dreaming."
Lily feels an overwhelming feeling of joy. She goes on her toes and kisses him softly. She breaks it, not breaking eye contact.
Before they leave James pinches himself again. Just to make sure. It's just to good to be real.
