The apartment was bathed in gentle morning light, casting a warm glow upon Alexandra and Charles as they sat side by side on the sofa. Their bodies were intertwined comfortably, both engrossed in the same book.

Lexi played absentmindedly with Charles' hair as her tired eyes followed the words on the pages. The exhaustion from the emotional rollercoaster of the previous day still lingered, making every thought feel like a heavy burden.

Jackson's interview, with its chilling admissions, haunted her thoughts like a relentless specter. But amid the turbulent sea of emotions, a ray of light pierced through.

The memory of her baby nephew, Theo, brought warmth and hope. His presence was a reminder of the simple joys in life, and for that, she was grateful.

After their meeting with Theo and the others, the group had given Lexi some space to process everything. They had agreed to reconvene in the paddocks for a meeting with their lawyers, marking the beginning of the Monaco Grand Prix, just three days away. It was a crucial time, and her racing career hung in the balance.

James, Jacob, Emily, Eleanor, and Theo were staying in Monaco for the race, thanks to the arrangements made by Charles and Pierre. It was a bittersweet arrangement, as Lexi was still grappling with the knowledge of James' secret family.

Theo, the cheerful and delightful little boy, had already made a place in her heart. She couldn't help but smile when she thought of the mini Ferrari racing suit that Charles had gifted him, a gesture that filled Theo with boundless joy.

As they continued to read "Eat, Pray, Love," one of Lexi's favorite books, Charles took notes of her usual highlights and underlined quotes. Around halfway through the book, he gently closed it, setting it aside. Turning to Lexi, he looked at her with those caring eyes of his, a gentle smile curving his lips.

"Amor," he began softly, "can you tell me about your favorite quotes? You know we always do this." His voice held that comforting familiarity, a ritual of shared insights and reflections that they had cherished.

Alexandra reluctantly accepted the book from Charles, her mind still grappling with the recent revelations. With a heavy heart, she decided to seek refuge in the familiar quotes they had shared countless times before.

As she flipped through the pages, her fingers grazing the text, she selected a few quotes that resonated with her deeply. After each one, she paused to explain to Charles what they meant to her.

"I'm here. I love you. I don't care if you need to stay up crying all night long, I will stay with you. If you need the medication again, go ahead and take it—I will love you through that, as well. If you don't need the medication, I will love you, too. There's nothing you can ever do to lose my love. I will protect you until you die, and after your death, I will still protect you. I am stronger than Depression and I am braver than Loneliness and nothing will ever exhaust me."
