I hurriedly ran back outside and turned towards the rear garden. Finnian was still working on the rose bushes.

"Finny? Do you want any help?"

He turned around to face me and smiled. "I don't need any. Unless you want to help." I nodded and he handed me some scissors. "you can go trim the hedges over there." He pointed to the ones he was trimming earlier. They were a total disaster.

"Finny?" I held back as much laughter as I could but I couldn't help but let out just a little.

"Yes Arielle?" He smiled a large smile, one you would use if you were hiding something.

"It's nothing." I turned back towards the shrubs and started to trim them, correctly.

It must have been hours since I started. Finny had left and the sun is now high in the sky. I smiled as I looked up to Ciel's window and saw that he wasn't there.

"Ari?" I turned and saw Ciel, he was dressed in bandages and one of his nightshirts. I blushed and smiled.

"Ciel!" I ran up to him and kissed him, making him take a couple steps back.

"Ari! Bandages!" I let go of him and giggled.

"Oops." he smiled softly and looked down. His hair framing his face, and hiding his blush.

"Y-you look beautiful."

"As do you, Lord Ciel." I curtsied. He laughed a little and offered his hand.

"So Milady, shall we dance?" I giggled and took his hand. he pulled me close and kissed me. And then we danced, he was better than last time. He only stepped on my feet once or twice, okay five times. But still!

"Ciel. I love you." I smiled at him.

"I love you too, Milady." he laughed with me. "So, why did you invite me here?"

"To make you happy."

"I'm happy wherever you are." Ciel held me close and kissed my forehead.

"I wanted to do something special. That's all." Ciel's face went red as he smiled at me. He bit his lip and looked away. He's so adorable when he does that. I stepped away and sat down in the grass. The sky was clear today. There were only a few clouds in the sky.

"Today's a nice day isn't it?" Ciel sat down next to me and pulled his arm around me.

"It really is. Almost as beautiful as you." I blushed. I said that out loud. He laughed and kissed me.

"I could say the same for you Ari." I placed my head on his shoulder when Sebastian came outside.

"Young Master, you shouldn't be outside."
Sebastian sighed as he picked up Ciel. Ciel frowned and tried to fight back. Then winced in pain and stopped. He looked back at me sadly and mouthed an 'I'm sorry' and was taken away. I sighed and looked back at the hedges I finished earlier.

"Miss Arielle! A letter has come in for you it has!" Mey-Rin ran outside and handed me the letter. She was a mess, she was panting and her glasses had fifteen more cracks than usual.

"Th-thank you Mey-Rin. Do you want to take a break?" She looked down surprised.

"Wh- I can't Miss! I must impress Sebastian!" And with that she ran off to do her job. This letter didn't have a wax seal on it. Then it must not be from a noble. I opened the envelope and a letter popped out.

Dear Arielle,

I'm sorry for what I did, I really am. could you come by the manor tonight? I want to give you something.

Lizzy

I read it over, twice, three times, four. There were tear stains on the letter, blotting the ink, which was nearly impossible to read with the hand writing. And I couldn't help but notice, a small dot of blood on the corner near Elizabeth's name.

I have to go help her.
