Spring

I woke up to Dominic grunting. I turned around and saw that he was scrunching his eyebrows and rolling around. I gently tried to nudge him awake as worry filled me. Suddenly he sat up and was breathing heavily. His eyes were wide open with terror. I touched his arm gently and he turned his head to look at me. He took his time to realize that it was me. 

He slowed down his breath. I slowly hugged him tightly, and he squeezed my body tightly. "Thank god, you're here", he said, still breathing heavily. "I'm always here", I whispered and pecked a kiss on his cheek.

"Bad dream?", I asked softly into his eyes. He nodded as he looked at me worriedly. "Do you want to talk about it?", I whispered and pet his hand. "I dreamed about...old times, that they found...you", he said as his jaw clenched. "But you're here to protect me", I whispered and looked deeply into his eyes. A tiny smile formed on his lips.

"Can you sleep or should we get up?", I asked and looked at the clock which was only four. He scratched his neck and said, "You should sleep, baby". I shook my head as a no and pouted. He tilted his head a little with a smirk. "If you're up, then I'm up", I said and smiled widely.

"How about we go watch a movie at the theatre?", he suggested. I smiled widely and nodded. He got off the bed slowly as I followed him. We walked to the basement hand in hand and put on How I Met Your Mother as we cuddled on the sofa.

After a couple of hours, I woke up to Dominic nudging me. "Baby...you should get ready for school", he whispered and petted my hair. "Will you drive me there?", I asked sleepily. "Yes, and I will wait for you and then take you to eat sushi", he told and helped me to sit up. He lifted me in his arms and started to carry me upstairs. "After all, you'll just empty your locker", he said quietly.

Dominic's red car drove in front of the school building. Anxiety took over my body as I looked at that grey building. Dominic petted my thigh which made me smile at him. "I'll wait for you here", he said and smiled at me. I nodded and pecked him a kiss. I took my bag and was about to leave until he pulled me closer and said, "One more". I laughed and kissed him, this time longer. "I'll be right back", I smiled as he nodded.

I opened my locker. It was full of chocolate and some old notebooks. I took them into my bag and reset the lock. I gave one last look at the lobby of the school. It didn't look scary anymore. Quiet hallways filled with memories. High school wasn't the best time in my life but I'll still miss it. I'm more than excited about my future.

I decided to go to the bathroom one last time. I went to the stall that I always used to go, looking over the writings on the wall. I walked out to wash my hands and suddenly a girl ran in, crying. Olivia. She didn't even glance at me. She sat down on the floor and covered her face with her hands.

"What's wrong?", I whispered as I was drying my hands to paper. "Elias...he cheated on me nine times!", she screamed from the top of her lungs. I raised my eyebrows in shock. "I'm sorry, no one deserves that", I whispered. "I know! I mean...look at my body", she laughed and pointed at her body. I raised my eyebrows again, trying not to laugh.

"I'm sorry about my contribution...I'm sure that Elias has told you about that", I said and fidgeted my fingers. She stopped sniffing and looked at me. "What happened?" she asked confusedly. I looked at her with my eyes wide as I told: "Maybe you should ask Elias". I grabbed my bag quickly and left the bathroom.

Classes had already ended so the hallways were full of students. I made my way to my locker and checked that I had taken everything. I closed the door and turned around when suddenly Elias walked towards me angrily. Damn, for once he's looking into my eyes. Why is he so mad? He pushed me against my locker making me wince. 

"What the fuck did you say to Olivia?!" he screamed. I looked around us as people went further from us. "I didn't say shit" I spat back at him. "She fucking asked me if you and I had something" he told. "How could I tell her if I don't even know if we had something?!". He let a sharp sigh out and said, "You're a backstabber just like your boyfriend" Elias spat as backed away from me. I smirked at him which made him a little confused. "Daddy's girl I guess," I said and walked away. I couldn't help but laugh. He's such a drama queen.


A smile formed on my face as I saw Dominic's car. He got up and opened the door for me. I sat down and waited until he got into the car too. He looked at me worriedly as he waited for me to start speaking. "Elias pinned me towards the lockers and yelled at me", I whispered as I fidgeted my fingers. "What?", Dominic asked shocked. I looked into his eyes and nodded. He looked to grow more angry as his jaw clenched. "I'll kill him", he hissed as he grabbed the wheel tightly and started to drive us slowly. I smiled at him and petted his hand.

"Can we talk about our future?", I asked as I was fidgeting my fingers on the couch. "What do you mean exactly?" He asked confusedly and put his phone away. "Like...what do you want our future to look like?" I asked and bit down on my lip. "I want to marry you, travel together...I don't know about you but I have always wanted to have a family" he added and scratched his neck. I couldn't help but smile "So you'd want kids?" I raised my eyebrows and asked. "Yes if you'd want" he told. "Two at least" I told and scrunched my nose happily. He smirked as I put my hands around his neck as he put his hands around my thighs. I kissed him. Our sloppy kisses started to turn into more passionate ones.

"Mila is going to be here soon", I said between us kisses. Dominic pulled me closer but I parted our lips. "What will you do tonight?", I asked as I looked into his eyes. "I'll go to a dinner with Anton", he noted and petted my waist. I smiled at him and pecked one more kiss on his lips.

"I got you something", Dominic said and pulled a red box behind the pillow. I gasped as he opened it and it revealed another Cartier Love bracelet. "I got you one a while ago but I think you need a second one too", he said and started to put it on my wrist. I admired it with my mouth open before I hugged him tightly. I screamed and said, "Thank you Pom".

"I also saw this dress that reminded me of you so I also got you that dress for tonight", he said and smirked at me. I raised my eyebrows and pecked a big kiss on his lips. "I hope that you'll have a great evening wine tasting with Mila", he said and pecked one last kiss.
