The car pulled up to a huge house by the ocean. "Wow," me and Sage stated while we got out of the car. The modern house stood as a sleek and elegant masterpiece, seamlessly blending contemporary design with functionality. Its exterior showcased clean lines, large windows, and a minimalist aesthetic, exuding a sense of sophistication and simplicity. The owners were clearly wealthy.

I was wearing a green silk dress, my long hair going crazy, and carrying my leather jacket.

Sage had a blue tight silk dress and white heels with her blonde short hair that barely touched her shoulders.

We both were nervous but also excited. We had high expectations for this night.

The music pulsed through the air, and the vibrant energy of the crowd surrounded us as we walked in. The room was filled with music, dancing, and the clinking of glasses.

The view from the open kitchen was breathtaking. I could see the golden sun starting to settle down over the ocean from the huge windows in the living room. The house was high from the water and it was facing the ocean. I and Sage exchanged nervous looks because this was our first party ever.

"Hi, Love!" a blonde girl chimed and hugged me. "Hi, Anastasia!," I greeted kindly. "This is my friend, Sage," I spoke as I introduced her to Anastasia. "Hi," Sage greeted and smiled sweetly.

"Well hello, I'm Stas...I'm Kiara's best friend," she introduced herself and grinned. "Nice to meet you! Wow, this place is amazing!" Sage spoke in amazement. "Yeah. It's my house" Anastasia told jokingly.

A sharp voice cut her words "No it's not". My head immediately lifted to see who was speaking.

My eyes widened in shock when I saw who it was. The guy from school. He was leaning on the kitchen counter sipping his drink.

Oh, those hands, I want those rings around my neck.

I accidentally licked my lips and blushed a little when I realized that. His eyes noticed my movements.

He took the cup down from his lips. He made me uncomfortable, which was noticeable because of my movements and fierce blushing. It made him smirk a little. "I know it's not my house" Anastasia laughed and rolled her eyes playfully. "Right," the guy mumbled back, not getting his eyes off me.

"Oh, right this is my cousin, I think you guys go to the same school" Anastasia continued and pointed at the guy and me, which made me blush again. "Hi," he greeted us and gave Sage and me a nod in exchange for our smiles.

"Hey Elias, ya coming?" a blonde tall boy ran in, interrupting our conversation. "Yeah," Elias said to him while giving me a last look. I felt as if I could melt on the ground.

Jeez, I gotta get myself in control!

The boys and Anastasia left to play beer pong leaving Sage and me alone in the kitchen. I turned to face Sage and grabbed her shoulders harshly. "Oh my god, those boys are in the same classes as I am! And Matilda's cousin is the hand guy, who I talked to you about!" I whisper-yelled almost panicking.

"Oh my lord, THAT'S the hand guy?! Oh, girl" Sage answered in utter shock and leaned against the marble countertop. "Yep," I said still in shock, and tried to calm down my breathing. "You wanna drink?" I asked in the hope of a reliever for my nerves.

The air was filled with music, laughter, and the buzz of conversations. The atmosphere was alive with anticipation, as people mingled and connected. The music resonated within me, pulsating through my body and inviting me to let loose and dance.
