You didn't want to tell Chrollo about what you saw out in the forest anymore, but he kept on pushing you to do so.

You felt like he even kept you awake on purpose to push you to finally tell him.

And the worst part was that you didn't even know why he was so persistent to know.

But you grew more and more tired so after half an hour, that felt like three instead, you gave in.

''I just saw something slighly weird in the woods..it's probably just my fever acting up..'' you said and hoped that this would be enough for him to leave you alone.

Instead of answering or questioning, like you hoped he would't, he just put his hand on your forehead to feel your tempreture like he already did a few times since yesterday.

But unlike the day before, his hands were warm.

Almost unberably warm which made you fight back your instinct of recoiling from his touch.

But you were way to exhausted to almost argue with Chrollo again so you stayed still, waited for him to make the next move.

Why was he being so weird right now? Is it really just your fever taking a hold of you?

Is it the cold you catched making you so sensitive?

Whatever it was, you could deal with it later but for now you wanted to go to sleep and rest for as long as you could.

"I'm tired.." you then said, Chrollos hand was still resting on your forehead and you could feel sweat forming where his hand rested.

"I figured...your temperature has only rised since the afternoon and you've been almost sleeping completely through since then..."

Gently he pulled his hand away from your forehead, putting it on your upper back instead while his other arm rested around your waist.

In a touch that felt like it wasn't even really there, due to it's softness, he guided you back to your bed.

You were so worn out that you basically let yourself drop down onto the mattress, letting your head meet the pillow almost harshly which only worsened your headache.

You didn't want to use your blanket but Chrollo wanted you to so there was no way of getting around it.

At least he compromised and opened the window so that at least your face could cool down through the soft breeze this season brought with it.

You woke up a few times throughout the night but were quick to close your eyes again to avoid a conversation with Chrollo and get through the fever more quickly.

You just didn't feel able to hold a conversation with Chrollo.

But each time you woke up you glanced in Chrollos direction, each time he was sitting ontop the window frame and his side profile was visible to you.

You were unsure if you just imagined it, but you thought you catched Chrollos lips moving as if he was speaking though there was no sound leaving them.

When trying to fall asleep again you tried to ignore the wind rummaging through the halls, sneaking through the rooms and making haunting noises.

But you've been through worst so it only took you a short time to get used to the noise and fall back into your slumber.

And with Chrollo around you felt much safer anyways.

When you woke up the next morning you didn't feel any better than yesterday.

It has been a while since you felt so absolutely miserable and you missed a free nose since yours was absolutely stuffed right now.

Chrollo came to check on you sometimes, made you drink some water and remembered you to try eating at least a snack

He confessed that he would love to cook for you but he just wasn't capable of doing so, he was simply not able to stay in his materialised form for long enough.

But he came in once with a pill against your headache.

Since morning it had only worsened more and more, it was so bad that it woke you up from your naps sometimes and made you almost cry and weep in the pain.

The medicine was a relief and you slept until late afternoon before habing enough energy to eat at least a single meal for the day.

It took you almost half an hour to even choose a simple meal and another ten minutes to prepare it.

You forced the food down your throat, the only thing encouraging you was Chrollo who seemed happy you were trying to eat.

You tried to stay awale after your, rather poor, dinner.

It made you kinda feel bad that you missed almost the entire day and basically made Chrollo nurse you.

But you only made it through half an hour of the movie before your eyes felt like they carried the entire weight of the solar system.

'I will just rest them for a moment..' you promised yourself but before you could do anything you were dead asleep next to Chrollo on the sofa.

Chrollo had woken you up to escort you into your bedroom, at least that was what he wanted to do.

But you whined, slapped his hands away when they tried to geab you to pull you up, told him you didn't want to go upstairs.

You were too tired to go up the stairs and were afraid you were too awake once upstairs to fall asleep again.

You were fine with sleeping on the couch, Chrollo however was not.

"At least sleep in the guest room then" he said, almost pleading.

But by now you should've come to the realisation that Chrollo would always get what he wants.

He ended up annoying you to sleep in the guest bedroom until you eventually did.

He even opened the window there to get you the fresh air you were so desperate for since yesterday night.

And if the bed wouldn't have been this comfortable you would've kicked Chrollos ass for getting on your sick nerves again.

But despite the comfortable bed, this nights sleep wasn't left undisturbed either.
