MIRAN FUSHIGURO had always been an outsider. In school, she was deemed as a weird child, seeing things that weren't there, it made everyone avoid her, fear her. At home, she only had her elder sister, Emi Fushiguro. Emi's raised her after their mother's untimely death, even she never believed her, always concluding that it was all in her imagination. That they were just her imaginary friends, many kids have them.

Those creatures weren't her friends. They watched her wherever she went and sometimes they would follow her.

They were never violent though.

Over time, she decided to stop talking about it, becoming very quiet at school and home. It didn't make her upset nor frustrated, it only made her confused on why she's the only person who could see them.

It made her feel lonely sometimes...

It all changed one normal day, when she met her sister's boyfriend, Toji Zen'in. There was something about him that Miran regarded even stranger than herself. It was until he confronted her and slayed a creature in front of her own olive-colored eyes.
