KATHRYN and DANIEL

DJ smiled when he woke up and saw Kath on her side of the bed. Itinukod niya ang isang siko sa kama at pinagmasdan ang asawa.

Hindi na niya tinanong ito kagabi kung saan galing ito at si Quen kahapon ng hapon. Hindi dahil sa nakalimutan niya na yon, kung di dahil ayaw niyang pagsimulan lang yon ng away nila. Tama ang Nanay niya. Tiwala. Kailangan niyang magtiwala sa asawa.

He gently kissed the bruise on her left arm. Masyadong sensitive ang balat ni Kath. Palagi siyang maingat tuwing inaangkin niya ito dahil hindi niya gustong nasasaktan ito. But last night was different. Nawalan siya ng kontrol.

Halos umaga na silang nakatulog. Umaga na niyang pinatulog ito. Paulit-ulit niyang inangkin ito. She never complained. She matched his passion with equal fire.

Yumuko siya at dinampian ng halik sa noo ito... Pababa sa ilong... Sa bahagyang nakaawang na mga labi.

Kath stirred in her sleep. Nararamdaman ang ginagawa ng asawa sa kanya. Mula sa mga labi niya ay bumaba ang mga labi ni DJ sa leeg niya... Hanggang sa dibdib niya, sa bahaging hindi natatakpan ng kumot. She slightly opened her eyes. She smiled.  Mukhang hindi pa kontento ito sa ilang round nila kanina... Humihirit pa!

"Hmmmm..." A soft moan escaped from her as his lips touched the hardened peak of her breast under the bed linen.

"You're awake..." She heard him say and continued what he's doing.

"What time is it?" She asked... Involuntarily arching her back when he sucked that hardened peak without removing the cloth that covers it.

"Twelve... high noon..."

Twelve?! Grabe! Nakakahiya sa mga kasama nila sa bahay.

"DJ..." His name came out as a moan... Napakapit siya sa buhok nito.

Naililis na nito ang kumot na tumatakip sa dibdib niya. His tongue drawing circles around the sensitive peak of her bare breast.

"Did you like that?" He asked.

She couldn't think straight. Naramdaman niyang hinihila pa nito ang kumot pababa.

DJ's eyes feasted on the 'view'. He felt his loins tighten at the sight of his wife's naked form.

"Beautiful..." He said, smiling.

"Beautiful than 'sunrise'?" Kath asked and raised a hand to touch his face... Her thumb traced the faint scar above his eyebrow.

"And the 'sunset'..." He answered and kissed the palm of her hand.

She smiled, "I love you..."

"I love you..." He was smiling when he lowered his head to kiss her.

They made love again... and again...

Kath was sore and bruised when he finally let her rest, but she has no complaint. Masaya siyang napapasaya niya ang asawa, dahil hindi niya alam kung hanggang kailan na lang niya magagawa iyon.

She smiled sadly and tears welled up her eyes. She could sense the impending doom of their marriage... And she knew she would be helpless to stop it.

"I'll never get tired loving you, sweetheart..." Bulong sa kanya nito. He kissed her closed eyes.

"And I'll never stop loving you, DJ." She said without opening her eyes. She didn't want him to see her tears.

"I'll remember that, Kath..." Sabi nito bago niya naramdamang kumilos ito pababa sa kama. "I'll get us some food. I'm starving."
