Third person POV:

Saori appeared next to Katara with markings all over her skin and a drained expression.

"Saori are you okay?" Katara asked the girl.

"Yea-yeah of course, why wouldn't I be? I'm very fine, yeah, very fine." Saori looked around avoiding eye-contact.

The markings glowed as she cringed at the pain. "Just a few hours, just a few hours." She repeated to herself.

"This is where I must go on my own." Saori turned to the rest who stood on top of the submarines. "You all invade the fire nation and I will stop the spirits."

"But why can't you kill all four of the spirits together?" Sokka asked as he took of his helmet.

"The four sisters are never together. Only two of them can be together at the same time."

"Why is that?"

"It was a curse."

Time skip

Saori marked the ground with intricate patterns as she stepped in the centre. The patterns glowed as two spirits flew out of them.

"There is no turning back now sorcerer."

The bigger spirit bolted to the girl with the smaller spirit at its tail. The battle began.

Saori defended herself against the spirits. The patterns below began to shift. She avoided going near the first spirit and lured the second daughter near her. Dior and Iris appeared as clones and distracted the first daughter.

The second daughter summoned out a sword and took the form of Saori's mother. Saori's breath stopped as she saw her mother infront of her. Snapping out the illusion, the girl stabbed the spirit through its heart.

The daughter cried in pain as black goo splattered Saori's clothes. The goo seeped through her clothes and burnt her skin as she groaned at the sensation.

The surroundings changed as the two were transported to the spirit world. The time went by faster in the natural world compared to the spirit world.

Saori frantically looked around for the circular patterns as she dodged the spirit.

Seeing them in the distance Saori ran to them as the daughter followed behind, trying to stop the girl.

The spirit's sword morphed into a spear as she threw it at the girl. The blade cut the sorcerer's bicep as blood pooled out.

The distance between the markings and the girl decreased when the first sister appeared and landed in the circle. The ground shook and Saori fell into the patterns as a force field surrounded the girl and the spirit. The younger daughter and the ravens were thrown back by the energy as the force field dissolved.

Saori coughed loudly as the second daughter attacked her. Searing pain shot through the girl's body as Dior and Iris stopped the daughter from reaching their master.

The girl fell to her knees as blood dripped out her eyes. Crashing onto the ground with a loud thud the girl forced herself up into a standing position.

Each movement felt as if she was being stabbed as her body temperature increased at a inhuman rate. Stumbling to the spirit she sliced it's throat open, killing it instantly before falling unconscious herself.

Time skip

Saori eyes snapped open but were met with darkness, the pain returned as she sat up with major difficulty. Her body felt as if it was being ripped apart. She sensed multiple seals and markings around her. She tried to speak but her voice was silent.

The pain in her chest worsened with each second passing. She felt her right lung squeeze as something pushed it against her ribs.

"Your awake." Wan Shi Tong spoke as she felt him push her back down. "You have became the host of the first daughter. But as you know, being the host of a spirit messes with your own body."

"What?" Her voice cracked as she finally got a word out.

"The daughter's anatomy is being mixed with your own, it is making you even more powerful."

"How is it affecting me?" Saori croaked out.

"Your body is making a second heart. You have one near your left lung, and now you'll have another one near your right lung."

"Can't you seperate me and the daughter now?"

"No. The heart is still under development, if we seperate you two now, the heart will be incomplete and your veins and arteries will be all over the place which will probably lead it internal bleeding and death."

"Water." Saori coughed as she felt her blood on her hand.

Wan Shi handed the girl a cloth to wipe the red liquid and a glass of water. Gulping it down Saori spoke out again. "Why are my eyes covered then?"

"Your visual powers are increasing because of the spirit. If we seperate you now, your internal anatomy will be incomplete."

"Care to elaborate?"

"The spirit is merging with you insides, like your heart, veins, blood and all that. It is changed the placement of everything to help you hold the power you possess. If we stop, you'll be left in a fragile state and paralyzed."

Saori nodded before regretting the movement. "Where am I now?"

"Your in my library. I'll send you back to your friends after your in a stable condition."

"Can you knock me out?"

Wan Shi Tong nodded as he cast a spell on the girl and she lost consciousness.

Time skip

Yue replaced the bandages on the girl's eyes and body.

The first daughter's abilities had healed Saori's external wounds hence, she didn't have any scars but the internal bleeding continued non stop.

The unconscious girl would occasionally cough out old blood which needed to be burnt. The moon spirit could sometimes see tears dripping out her eyes. It broke her heart to see her best friend in such a condition.

Dior and Iris appeared as they nuzzled next to Saori's face.

"Master, please wake up soon." They croaked.

Wan Shi Tong and Koh observed the trinkets in Saori's bag as they took the pendant. Placing it on a delicate chain the put multiple enchantments on the necklace.
