Third person POV:

"So why was I called here again?" Saori huffed out.

"Mind your tone young one." Wan Shi Tong warned.

"Just tell me why I am here.."

"It is decided that you will be the on the fight the spirit of Hizashi."

"Go on, increase my anxiety. Wasn't it already high enough?"

"What I am suggesting is, that you make friends with the Avatar and his buddies."

"I thought it was clear that I am not making friends."

"Listen to me, Saori." Wan Shi Tong said. The spirit knew she wasn't going to listen so, it changed the subject. "I will be here if you need me, I can sense you hiding things from me, tell me, what is the problem?"

The sorcerer sighed contemplating whether to tell the spirit or not to.

"I just want to be happy but something inside screams that I don't deserve it."

"Child...."

"It was pretty fucked up how okay they were after hurting me, a mere child, who wasn't even 14.." Saori teared up as she thought about her past which she had tried her hardest to forget.

Suddenly a second voice spoke out, "Isn't it scary to be ready to die at such a young age?"

"Now isn't the time Koh." Wan Shi Tong frowned.

Koh secretly worried for the young girl's wellbeing muttered out an apology before vanishing.

"I think about death so much that it has become a memory."

Wan Shi Tong debated on whether he should tell Saori the reason he had called her there.

"Child, there is something I wish to tell you."

"I know. Your leaving, of course, any and EVERY TIME I EVEN START TO CARE ABOUT SOMEONE THEY LEAVE.." Saori paused. "they always do.."

"I apologise, young one."

"........ I don't wan't to get attached to anyone anymore, I just end up hurting myself. I am strong, because I am alone. I don't have any one I am attached to so no-one can use someone against me."

"Child, I will be back."

"Promise?"

"I-" Wan Shi Tong halted, "I promise."

"Spirits, it's so humiliating to cry infront of someone, it makes me feel weak." Saori groaned as she wiped her tears.

"It isn't, it means you have been strong for to long." Wan Shi Tong smiled.

"It's the first time I have cried infront of someone. I hate it."

"Now now child, let's lighten the mood, I have a task for you."

"What is it?" Saori asked in her usual monotone voice.

"I have found a book to help you with your abilities." Wan Shi Tong explained, "You will be staying here until you master them."

"Can't I do it while I keep an eye on the Avatar?"

"The new techniques are quite destructive and keeping an eye on the Avatar would be distracting."

"Alright then, where is the book?"

The owl spirit opened its folded wing revealing a black and blue book, it looked fragile and weathered as if an ounce of pressure would make it crumble.
