Chapter 6: The Chase

Third person POV:

Aang yawned as Saori streched her arms.

Everyone except Saori were half asleep while the sorcerer was completely normal.

"Aang do you want me to streer Appa? Your four look like you could use a nap." Saori offered.

"Thanks Saori." Aang got up as the girl sat in his place.

After about fifteen minutes of traveling, Saori lowered Appa into a clearing.

"Land, sweet land." Toph jumped onto the ground. "See you guys in the morning."

"Actually, can you help us unload?" Katara asked.

"Really? You need me to help unload Sokka's funky smelling sleeping bag?"

Sokka sniffed the bag as he fell back.

"Well yeah, that and everything else. You're part of the team now and-"

"Look, I didn't ask you to help me unload my stuff, I'm carrying my own weight."

"That's not the point. Ever since you joined us, you've been nothing but selfish and unhelpful."

"What? Look here, sugar queen, I gave up everything I had so I could teach Aang earthbending. So don't you talk to me about being selfish."

Toph made a tent for herself.

"Sugar queen?!" Katara furiously exclaimed.

Took made a slab of rock slam infront of Katara which added fuel to the fire.

"Did you just slam the door in my face? How can you be so infuriating!"

"Should we do something?" Aang turned to Saori and Sokka.

"Hey, I'm just enjoying the show." Sokka grinned.

"I am not getting between those two, you're on your own." Saori raised her hands.

Aang walked to Katara, "Okay, okay, you both need to calm down."

"BOTH?!" KATARA SCREECHED. "I'M COMPLETELY CALM!"

"I can see that..." Aang nervously smiled and hid behind Saori.

Time skip

"The stars sure are beautiful tonight. To bad you can't see them Toph!" Katara shouted.

Toph sent Katara flying who landed on her poor brother.

"Hey! How's the guy supposed to sleep with all this yelling and earthquaking!"

"That thing is back!"

"How far away is it? Maybe we can close our eyes for a few minutes." Sokka went back into his sleeping bag.

"I don't think you're going to be able to sleep Sokka." Saori watched the smoke cloud approaching.

The gang hurried onto Appa as Saori got the bison to fly.

Time skip

Saori jumped off Appa as Sokka fell after her.

"Okay, forget about setting up camp, I'm finding the softest pile of dirt and going to sleep."

"That's good because Toph wasn't going to help anyways." Katara scoffed.

"I didn't realise baby still needed someone to tuck her in bed." Toph replyed.

"Come on guys there is something after us and we don't what or who it is." Aang groaned.

"It could be Zuko, we haven't seen him since the North pole." Katara wondered.
