Allison and Brie walked through the library together. Allison was just after telling Brie all about what Lydia had translated in the bestiary and now they were going to tell Scott and Stiles. In secret of course because there were cameras in the school.

They were on one side of the bookshelf while the boys were on the other side. Super inconspicuous.

Allison handed Scott his tablet through the bookshelf. There was a space between the books for them to communicate through.

"It's everything Lydia can translate," Allison told him in a low voice. "And trust me, she was very confused."

"Yeah, what did you tell her?" Scott asked as he read through the text.

"That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," Allison's said, laughing at how ridiculous it sounded. Even Scott let out a laugh.

"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," Stiles told her with the most serious expression.

Brie let out a laugh at the awkward silence.

"Oh," Allison said. "Great."

"Okay," Scott changed the subject. "Does it say how to find out who's controlling him?"

"Not really," Allison said. "But Stiles was right about the murders."

Stiles punched the air in victory saying "Yes!" Brie thought it was adorable.

"It calls the Kanima a weapon of vengeance," Allison went on.

"There's a story in there about this South American priest," Brie said, remembering what she read. "Who uses the Kanima to execute murderers in his village."

"All right, see?" Stiles spoke. "Maybe it's not all that bad."

"Until the bond grew strong enough that it killed whoever he wanted it to."

"All bad, all very, very bad," he corrected himself.

"Here's the thing, though," Allison said. "The Kanima's actually supposed to be a werewolf. But it can't be....."

Brie nudged her to stop talking a woman passed them.

Scott was reading the text and continued for her. "Until it resolves that in its past which manifested it."

"Okay, if that means that Jackson could use a few thousand hours of therapy, I could've told you that myself," Stiles said.

"What if it has something to do with his parents?" Allison suggested. "His real parents."

"Yeah, does anybody actually know what happened to them?" Scott said, turning to Brie in question considering she would be the most likely to know.

"Lydia might," Brie said. "He would've never told me something like that."

"What if she doesn't know anything?" Scott asked.

"Well, he doesn't have a restraining order against me," Allison said. "So I'll talk to him myself."

"Okay, what do I do?" Scott asked.
