Forty five

When Brie opened her eyes she had no idea where she was or anything that had happened.

Where is Stiles? She was just with him?

She looked around but saw nothing but trees. She somehow got in a forest? She didn't remember anything.

"Hello?" She called out to no one. "Hellooooo?"

No one called back. She was alone, lost in the woods:

"Scott?" She heard a voice call, only a bit away from her.

The blonde jumped bit easily recognised the voice.

"Allison?"

"Brie?" Her brunette best friend called back after a minute. "Brie is that you?"

"Yeah it's me, I'm over here."

Allison then spotted her and came running over to her.

"What are you doing in the woods at this hour?" She asked. "And what happened to you? You look like you just got in a fight with a wild cat."

"I honestly don't even know," Brie sighed with a nervous laugh. "What about you what are you doing here?"

"I was supposed to meet Scott here at nine," she explained, beginning to walk with the blonde. "Only my grandfather stopped me while I was leaving to talk. Which made me super late."

"I'm sure Scott will understand," Brie comforted. "He's a very understanding guy."

"Enough about me," the brunette turned to look at her. "What do you mean you don't know how you ended up here."

Brie sighed, trying her hardest to remember. "I don't know, I mean, I guess I blacked out? Last thing I remember is being in the mechanic place with Stiles."

"That's so weird."

"I'm so confused and my head is pounding," Brie complained, pulling out her phone. "I should call Stiles. I mean, what if something happened?"

"Look, I'm sure he's fine," Allison looped her hand through the blondes. "I have no idea how you ended up in the woods but there has to be a logical explanation."

"Yeah, you're right," Brie smiled at her. "I'll call him right now and see."

Stiles opened the door to Scott's car after talking to his dad about the nights events. Obviously he twerked the story slightly. Like not mentioning the monster, and saying that Brie wasn't with him at all.

He was worried shitless about Brie. And now he was pissed because the police are keeping his jeep for evidence.

"You okay?" Scott asked once Stiles sat into his car.

"Yeah," Stiles responded with a sigh. "You're right. It's not like you. I mean, it's eyes were almost, like, reptilian," he explained, looking straight ahead. "But there was something about them."

"What do you mean?" Scott questioned when Stiles didn't explain further.

"You know when you see, like, a friend in a halloween mask," Stiles started. "But all you can actually see are their eyes, and you feel like you know them, but you just can't figure out who it is?"

"Are you saying you know who it is?"

"No," Stiles answered definitively. "But I think it knew me."

"And Brie, you're saying she just didn't help you?" Scott asked. He still didn't believe what Stiles had told him. It didn't make sense.
