My friend group decided to invite a whole heap of people to Ash's birthday as he was comfortable with it, we were walking back to mine from school to get ready for the party. I was leaning my head on Ash's shoulder "I have the best present for you," I say playing with his jumper "that's what's up," he says then kisses my head.

"I don't think any present can beat when I got you Tray," Ash said making me smile "no of course," we walk up to my house and when we enter my mum is sitting at the table with a cop.

My stomach sinks and I feel Ashtray tense next to me "Diana honey can you go upstairs," my mum speaks and I just hold Ash's hand tight before letting go.

I walk upstairs until I am out of view but I can still see and hear everything, I watch as Ash sits across from them both, "we have just received information from Faye that you are Fezco's brother?" the cop asked pulling out a note pad.

Ashtray didn't say a word but the cop continues.

"Well we recently received information from Faye saying that information we have is incorrect and also as he is a guardian to you we have to take the case back to court, I also know you may have been aware of this through rumours but he will be back in court next week you have to be present," the cop said and I almost saw Ash smile.

I sit on the stairs leaning forward to see everything "uh I will be present," Ash speaks up "that's great," the cop stands and smiles at my mum "yo can I ask what the in correct information was?" I look at the cop.

"Apparently Fezco was black mailed into taking the fall for Faye and now Faye is feeling guilty so she came forward," I closed my eyes with guilt, I had been a bit annoyed with Faye as she knew things and never warned us but taking the fall for Fez isn't gonna end well for her.
