Vanya stormed out of the building that she was in after Luther told her a major detail Five left out. Safe to say, she was a little pissed. Okay, well, insanely pissed.

"Well, that clearly went well." He said sarcastically, "you ready to go?"

"I'm going back to the farm." She stated coldly as she speed-walked to the car.

Five did a jog to catch up to her, "hey! Unacceptable, Vanya. We need to stick together, remember?"

Number Seven just rolled her eyes in return and opened the car door. She turned to face him again. "Oh, why? So I don't end the world again?" She asked harshly.

Five was shocked by what she said. He reared back and looked at the hole in the brick wall Luther made. "Stupid.." he muttered.

"We're you even gonna tell me?" Vanya snapped.

"You know what? In my defence, no. Alright?" He shot back, "and can you blame me? When you get angry... shit blows up."

"Great," Vanya said sarcastically as she got in the car, "are there any other family secrets you failed to mention?"

"A boatload, Vanya, which I don't have the luxury of sharing with the-" Five paused and bit his lip to hold back any rude things he might accidentally say. He breathed in and out to calm himself down, and then knocked on the window.

Vanya sighed and rolled it down avoided his gaze.

"The clock is ticking on doomsday." Five reminded, "just tell me that when I need you.. you'll be ready."

Vanya then locked eyes with him with an emotionless expression, "I can't help you, Five. I don't even know who I am."

She was about to drive off, but Number Five stuck his head back through the window. "You're our sister." He corrected, "and a member of the Umbrella Academy. Like it or not, that's who you are."

Number Seven was starting to get angrier, "that's who I was." She sneered, "new timeline, new me."

With that, the car moved forward and Vanya drove away.

"No, that's not how it works-" Five gave up on yelling after her and just turned to the hole in the brick wall. Luther was there, and he flipped the boy off.

"Wonder if it's too late to be unadopted." Five grumbled. He gave up and decided it was best just to head back to Elliott's. Maybe check to see if anyone had done anything insane again.

(Y/n) kicked open the door to Elliott's and stumbled in. She had a pounding headache, and most parts of her body ached. She cut out everything around her, not paying attention to who was there even. Number Eight leaned on the sink for support, and splashed cold water on her face. She drank more water to try and help with her headache, but that just brought back up the metal taste in her mouth.

"Fantastic." She muttered.

"I don't know! She came in here like that!"

"Ah- stop! I didn't even touch her!"

Number Eight didn't bother listening to Diego and Lila's voices, but jumped when she heard Five's from behind her.

"What the hell happened to you?" He asked.

She slowly spun around to avoid her head from throbbing. That's when he saw all of her injuries. Not to mention the blood running from her mouth. Her bruised face, busted lip, limping stance, and tired eyes. "Sparring statan himself by the looks of it." Lila answered.

Five shot her the dirtiest look and then turned back to Number Eight. "Someone's got a death wish. Give me the name."

(Y/n) just chuckled lightly and wiped the blood off her chin with the back of her hand. "Five, don't worry about it. Doomsday is what's to worry about."

She turned away but he turned her back. "What's to worry about is you."

(Y/n) just stared back at him. She was unsure of what to say. "I just lost focus, that's all."

"That's not all." Five persisted, "don't lie to me right now, (Y/n)."

She looked down and mumbled something inaudibly.

"What was that?" Five leaned closer to hear.

"I got into a fight with some cops." She said a bit louder, "it's all fine now, I just have a pounding headache and I don't feel the greatest. Clearly."

Five's expression softened and he sighed this time. Just by the way her voice sounded, he knew something was wrong from the start. He didn't even have to see her.

"And you don't have to be so rude about it." She muttered as she crossed her arms.

Number Five lifted her chin and wiped some blood off of it with his thumb. "I'm rude about it because I care."

Heat rose to her cheeks and she looked away. How on earth did he manage to switch her emotion so fast?

Five leaned around her to wet a cloth with warm water. He rung it out a bit and gently held her face with one hand, and used the other one to softly wipe blood off her face with the cloth. Somehow it didn't hurt when he did it. His touch was so soft. "I can take care of myself, you know. I was in a juvie for three years." She chuckled, trying to take the cloth.

He grabbed her wrist to stop her from grabbing it, "I know you can, doll. But, I couldn't stop it from happening, so I'm gonna stop it from getting worse myself. I think I'll sleep just a little better knowing I was a tad bit useful."

She rolled her eyes and took her wrist back, she looked down to avoid him from seeing how much she was blushing. "Fine. Whatever. Where's Vanya?"

"Not exactly.. well.. not coming here right now."

Diego stopped his conversation with Lila when he heard that. "So, what, you just let her go?" He asked as Lila finished treating his wound and and sat back up in her seat.

"Well, Vanya had a lot to process." Five replied as he moved to wipe the blood off her neck now. "She'll come around. I know she will."

"What about the guys that went after her?"

"The Swedes?"

Five rinsed off the cloth and grabbed the first-aid kit from under the sink. He then spatial jumped him and (Y/n) to the couch.

"Yeah, I mean, how do you know they won't go after her again?" Diego asked.

Elliott handed out cups of coffee to everyone. (Y/n) declined hers, but Five snatched it instead. He then put it down and stuck a square band-aid over her bruised cheek because it was also bleeding. She poked it with her finger because it felt weird, but Five didn't like that very much.

"We don't." The boy answered.

Lila hummed, "any idea who sent them?"

(Y/n) picked up Five's coffee and gave it to him, taking the first-aid kit out of his hands. He took a sip and looked at Lila in a mockery sort of way, "oh, I have my suspicions."

Number Eight clicked the box closed and set it on the table. She violently rubbed under her forehead to try to get her head to stop pounding. Five noticed this and spatial jumped to get her a bag of ice.

"So, what are we going to do until then?" Diego questioned.

"Right now, our main priority is finding dad and getting answers." Five informed as he handed her the ice pack and placed a quick, caring kiss on the cheek. Obviously all this care made her very flustered and blush spread through her face right from the beginning. "Cause, everything else depends on it." He concluded.

Number Eight sat up right against Five, with their shoulders touching. "Thanks, Five. For patching me up."

"Of course." He responded, "my pleasure."
