His yellow flowers meant friendship, it was his way of apologizing and showing that he genuinely wanted to get to know her and through that, he also wanted to be her friend. A goofy smile made her way onto her face as she thought about how he had arrived at school with paint on his clothes because of his creation of the flowers, he had also dismissed the questions from his friends.
Heat rose to her cheeks when he arrived at her house and explained himself with full honesty and she let him speak, she watched as he apologized and stuttered, she watched as he cursed at himself and told her that he wasn't good at this.
He remembered laughing at his words and she remembered when he gave her the flowers expecting nothing but a 'leave me alone' instead he received a hug and an 'I forgive you.' And at that moment she knew that he meant all of it.
