YOUR POV
"Maybe I should drive? I would like to make it to our destination." Wanda joked as she threw me my keys. "Ha ha. Very funny Wanda. If I remember correctly I'm the one who taught you how to drive." I shot back. She just rolled her eyes and got in the car. So far the drive was boring and luckily there wasn't a lot of traffic but it'd still take over an hour to get to New Jersey. "How old is this car? It only has a radio." Wanda groaned breaking the silence. "It's a 1962 corvette Wanda. It's about 3 decades older than you." I joked which got me a slap in the arm. "Hit me again and I'll crash the car." I warned while speeding up. "You wouldn't dare." She gasped playfully. "Watch me." I stated while speeding up again and taking my eyes off the road while recklessly switching lanes. Wanda looked scared but I memorized where every car was before speeding up and turning to look at her. I'm an expert driver I wouldn't risk her safety. "Okay! You can stop now!" Wanda screamed. I did exactly as she said and slowed down and turned my eyes back onto the road. "Next time, take my word for it." I snorted. "I certainly will you crazy ass motherfucker." Wanda panted still trying to catch her breath. "Don't be a little bitch. I wouldn't put you in danger and you know that." I scoffed while turning onto the freeway. "Well I'm not an adrenaline junky like you." She pouted. "Turn that frown upside down missy." I playfully nudged her until she stopped pouting and smiled. "You're such a dork quit it." She said. "Well who else would make you smile like that besides Vision..." I smirked. She blushed and turned away at the mention of the toasters name. "He does not..." She tried to defend herself but when she looked back at me I gave her 'Stop lying' look and she blushed even harder. "Whatever you say Wanda... just find it hard when you're darker than a cherry." I joked. She shut up all together which made it even funnier. The rest of the drive was peaceful we just enjoyed each other's company and talked about little things. We were about 20 minutes out from the café that one of the most popular elder witch worked at. Most magical beings hung around there because it was a safe space but I hadn't been there in years. "Wanda?" I spoke up. "Hm?" She hummed out while messing with her rings. "I want you to know that there will probably be people there from my past and I want to remind you I'm not that person anymore. Also anything that involves magic you can mention to the team but other than that this trip is for ourselves." Setting boundaries before we got started. "You have nothing to worry about Y/n. No one could ever change the way I see you." She reassured me. I smiled at her before speeding up so we could get this over with. "I have one question though." She said. "What is it Wanda?" I snorted at her curiosity. "Are there more places like this all over the world?" She asked. "Of course there are. There were witches before I was born but what makes me special is my mother can from the strongest line of witches and my father came from the second strongest family and when they created me it had its advantages." I informed the baby witch next to me. "Oh my. That's amazing!" She said enthusiastically. "One more thing, don't go snooping in anyone's head. Here they don't like that at all. I learned that the hard way." I mumbled the last part reminiscing on the memories. "Deal. I've had a great teacher to help me with it." She joked. "Shut up before I leave you out here." I rolled my eyes playfully. Finally we made it to the café that read 'Carmens Café'. The sign said closed but obviously there were people there because the door was unlocked. "The sign says that we're closed. Either you don't have eyes or you want to get your ass kicked." The familiar voice stated from behind the bar. "That's no way to greet an old friend." I scoffed while walking towards her. "Y/n!?" She shouted while moving to stand in front of me. "The one and only Carmen." I stated and she hugged me so tight I thought she was going to squish my lungs. "It's good to see you." She stated while letting me go. "And who might this be?" She questioned turning towards Wanda with a suggestive smirk. "This is Wanda Maximoff. Wanda this is Carmen." I stated introducing them. "Nice to meet you." Wanda stated putting her hand out for Carmen to shake. "Pleasure to meet a friend of Y/N's. Or maybe more than a friend." She winked at me and I rolled my eyes. "We're not together and she's off limits so don't get any ideas." I warned pointing a finger at Carmen, Wanda just laughed at the interaction. "Whatever, could've been fun." She winked at Wanda and Wanda was a blushing mess. "Stop it. Geez this is why I don't visit." I scoffed in annoyance. "Shut up Y/n. Why are you here?" Carmen sighed. "I need to see Mags." I stated. "She's busy." Another familiar voice spoke out. "Katherine what a great pleasure to see you." I stated sarcastically. "Well if it isn't the devil herself." Katherine shot back. I groaned in annoyance, "We just need to talk to Mags." Wanda gave me a look asking if I was alright and I just nodded and brushed it off. "What for? You never come here and ask for help so what is it?" Katherine scoffed while moving to stand in front of me. I looked down at her annoyed because everyone in this room was shorter than me. I didn't answer her and we just had this tense staring contest. "You found her didn't you?" Katherine spoke up breaking the staring contest. "Found who exactly?" Wanda chimed in confused. "Her soulmate." Katherine said. "That's only reason why she's here. She doesn't ask anyone for help so I'm guessing whatever you need help with you're doing it for someone else and not yourself." I looked at her in disbelief as she thinks she knows me. "I'll take a drink Carmen." I stated while sitting at the bar. Carmen gave me an apologetic look but handed me a bottle of vodka. I gave her a nod of thanks and downed the whole bottle. I could feel Wanda staring at me but I ignored her. Wanda took a seat next to me and I looked at her confused but she patted my leg and gave me a reassuring smile. "Tell me about this lucky Vampire." Katherine said sitting on my left. "Fuck off." I shot back. "Don't tell me she's human." Katherine scoffed. When I didn't answer she obviously figured it out. "Oh for fucks sake you've gone soft. Bet she doesn't do it like we used too." She antagonized me. "She doesn't. It's actually better because she makes me cum." I said with a smirk. Wanda choked on air and Carmen busted out laughing. Before Katherine could even say anything Mags popped out from the back. "Y/n how nice to see you again. Glad you and Katherine still don't know when to shut up." She stated. I rushed to her and gave her an apologetic smile before hugging her. She had started aging now and soon she probably won't be here anymore. "Sorry to stop by without calling. But we need to talk." I gestured towards Wanda and she gave an awkward wave. "Come with me." She sighed.

"So you did find the 'one'?" Mags questioned taking us to the back room. "Well I wasn't 100% sure at first but now I am. Even if she doesn't see it yet." I stated. "Well she's obviously the 'one' because you don't come to me for help ever." Mags scoffed while gesturing for us to sit in this nice comfortable back room. "So you've always been so stubborn. Sounds about right." Wanda chimed in. I sent her an annoyed look and she shut up. "You brought a dangerous witch in here." Mags groaned while grabbing a big book. "Yes I know that. Why do you think I brought her to the best of the best." Trying to flatter her so she'd sound less upset with me. "Flattery doesn't work on me Y/n and you know that." She said unamused. "It was worth a try..." I grumbled under my breath. "Wait who are we talking about??" Wanda blurted out. "She doesn't know?" Mags questioned. "Well no. She's still young." I stated shifting my position in my chair. "Hello!? I'm right here!" Wanda stated. "I'll give her books then." Mags responded. "On what exactly?" Wanda chimed in again. "Chaos magic. Now chill out Maximoff or we won't get ice cream on the way home." I warned her and she rolled her eyes at me but nodded and smiled. Of course she would melt for ice cream, who wouldn't? "What exactly is the problem Y/n?" Mags questioned while pulling out some of her magic books. "My ability of control. For some reason my control has been fluctuating and it's putting my family in danger." I groaned out of frustration. "You're doubting yourself, why?" She asked. "I'm not sure. I've never doubted myself before I have no idea why I would now." I stated. "Don't mix arrogance with confidence." Wanda joked. I didn't think it was funny but apparently Mags did. "I like her." She smiled while pointing to Wanda. "Yeah what's not to like?" I threw out sarcastically. "Anyways." Mags cleared her throat. "I believe that you've found people who value you as much as you value them and you've never had that before so you don't know how to feel." Mags suggested. "She thinks she's a monster." Wanda pointed out. "I didn't know this was a group therapy session." I grumbled under my breath. "We're here again. Y/n no matter how many times anyone tells you you're not a monster you won't believe it. Why is that?" Mags pressured. "Because of the things I've done. I don't deserve happiness, I don't deserve to be loved. Maybe that's why Nat wanted a break, she realized it too." Putting my face in my hands out of defeat. "You're wrong. Time and time again you've proved to be more than worthy. You are the most unselfish and kind hearted person I've ever met in my lifetime and of course you have flaws so does everyone. Doesn't mean you are valued any less." She said sympathetically. "Why don't you take the break and work on yourself? We already know how much Nat means to you so why don't you find yourself worth?" Wanda chimed in again. "Careful Maximoff. I think you care too much. If me and Nat don't work I might have to snatch you up." I joked dismissing my problems. "Don't do that. I know you're joking because you don't know how to cope but don't take my feelings and turn them into what they're not." Wanda shut me down. "Fine Wands. Just promise me you won't let me lose myself or Nat and make terrible decisions." I pleaded. "I promise." She said holding out her pinky. We pinky promised and took some time to catch up with Mags. Maybe Nat was right, a break was what we needed.
