Today was the day my beautiful wife was born. Today was Annie's birthday and our friends and I planned her surprise birthday party. I and the kids would spend the day with her and she would come back to RE and have a surprise party.
I also talked to Touka about Annie. I told her not to try any funny business on her birthday. But I was scared about part of our conversation. Touka had no one to look after the baby so she would have to stay in one of the rooms upstairs above RE.
But those are the least of my problems. I and the kids woke Annie up, making her breakfast. After breakfast, we got dressed and went to our destination, the carnival.
Where we played a whole lot of games and now that Mikasa awakened her kakugan she was slowly losing her taste for human Food so I ended up buying a whole lot of junk food for her. Trust me I don't like her eating a lot of sweets but I can't resist the eyes.
plus she kept on saying " papa it's my last day to eat human food I should at least get to have the last bite of it" and "if I don't eat it now I will never get to eat it again".
I won teddy bears for Annie and Mikasa, and soon later I gave the triplets money and let them go play whatever they wanted.
I and Annie stood close by to see where they were, Although there was a lot of noise, Historia was still asleep, her small head rested on Annie's chess as she slowly breathed in and out.
"Kaneki," she said and I looked at her although she was still looking at Mikasa, Ray, and Norman from afar.
" yea" I replied.
she finally looked up at me and did a closed eye smile.
" thank you for the life you gave me I appreciate it"
Just hearing that made me smile as I pulled her in a soft hug.
"your welcome, I love you and happy birthday, Honey" and she giggled.
"I love you too darling"
Later the kids came back with toys and prizes. and Surprisingly Ray came back with a lot because he found out the guy who was the owner of the stall was cheating. Next thing you know he made a scene and the poor guy had to give him a bunch of prizes just to shut him up.
Ray was smirking all the way we walked to the car and Mikasa was holding her stomach because she ate too much while Norman was helping her walk.
I took Historia from Annie and put her in her car seat and buckled her up then let the kids get inside.
I made my way to the trunk to put the toys and prizes that we one. while making my way to the driver's seat my phone rang and I stopped.
When I took out my phone from my pants pocket it was Hide so I answered.
"Hide"
" kaneki everything is set up you can bring her here now," he said
" Sure we're on our way" he hung up and I got in the car and made our way to RE.
