IISM students witnessed the Star-studded event ✨ at the 50th Anniversary of Wankhede Stadium 🏟️ during the work exposure recently. The event, held from 11th to 19th January, featured many exciting moments, including but not limited to live cricket matches 🏏, felicitation of Mumbai cricket legends and former & current Indian cricket captains 🏆, a recognition ceremony for the groundsmen & curators, and a 50th-anniversary celebration of Wankhede stadium 🎉. "I had the incredible opportunity to serve as an Operations Coordinator during the 50th Anniversary celebrations of Wankhede Stadium. Working at such a legendary venue is a dream for many young sports enthusiasts, and my time there was filled with exciting moments.", shared Shreyas Gokhale, one of the IISM students who volunteered there. At just 13 years old Nicolette or better known in her district as Nico, she volunteers out of sheer boredom. With no living relatives and a mind that's constantly needing something to do she volunteers just for the hell of it. Yes, she knows of the horrors that take place in the game and YES, she knows she's likely to die, but she's always been reckless. She's always done things that kept everyone on their toes. She refuses to fit in, and she loves to make a splash. So, when she gets the idea to volunteer during the reaping she doesn't wait very long to jump on it.

This is my entry for the National Geographic competition #PlanetOrPlastic. Emma is a woman who experiences what it feels like to see her favourite beach being covered in plastic waste.
